During this time, I was also dealing with a deeply personal situation--my father was battling brain cancer. Despite that, there was no urgency or empathy from the owner, Jimmy, to finish the work or communicate clearly. Now, nearly a year later, I'm dealing with a leak in my family room ceiling where a new gutter was installed. The seam of one gutter is still leaking, and two gutter guards flew off during a storm. I've repeatedly asked for a final invoice, which Jimmy has avoided sending, offering only excuses.
