The amount exceeded Wells Fargo's online limits, requiring an in-person visit. To save time, I called ahead to ensure the branch could assist me. My first call was to the Wells Fargo on Mason Street. I explained my situation and asked if I could visit and wait for an available banker to handle my wire transfer. Unfortunately, I was informed that no one was available that day and was offered an appointment several days later. Despite explaining that I needed to send the funds urgently and was willing to wait, I was told this wasn't possible as all bankers were fully booked. I was disappointed, as I remember a time when branches went out of their way to assist customers without requiring appointments. In contrast, my experience with the Wells Fargo in Howard was exceptional. I spoke with Pamela Ewing, the Branch Manager, who was warm and understanding. After explaining my needs and estimated arrival time, Pamela quickly checked with her team and assured me they would accommodate me. Upon arriving, I was promptly assisted by Hollyann, who efficiently completed my wire transfer within 20 minutes. I am incredibly grateful to Pamela and her staff for their outstanding service, flexibility, and dedication to helping me. Their efforts made a stressful situation seamless, and I truly appreciate their commitment to customer care.

    I called a local number for information about financing improvements for a rental property. I have…read moreno idea what location called me back but the call came from a 414 area code Callled to find out what loan options I had for financing some major improvements on a rental property. I was told someone would call me tomorrow. At 9:30 the next day someone calls asking for me. I I'd myself and he apologizes because our appointment was for 10 am. Huh? I wasn't given a specific time. I told him it was OK to talk now. No, he says, "I have an appointment with someone else now. I'm thinking, OK, stuff happens. The phone rings at 10 am. It is the same number that rang at 9:30 am. The voice at the other end is stammering and it is readily apparent he has no idea who he called! I identify myself and he apologizes for HIS confusion. He proceeds to offer options that are not even close to being competitive. I thanked him and said it was less expensive to put my planned improvements on my credit card. Given how unorganized and confused this man was, I had no confidence in what he was telling me nor did I have confidence in the quality of their products. He was the 4th lender I called so I indeed had timely comparisons and he wasn't even in the ballpark!

    I did just recently close my account here to consolidate my finances at Ameriprise…read more I had a CD reach come due so I had to call in, the day of, to keep my money from being put back in for another six months. This isn't a feature I care for (having to call the day of, not before) so I was eager to have this taken care of. This is when I learned I also had to come in to sign for this. At first the representative on the phone could not fit me in at a location for an appointment to sign this form. This was irritating to me because I was never told I would have to sign anything until that day in the first place. I also had to work that day and wanted this action completed immediately so I would not have to worry about it anymore. The representative knew I was irritated and was doing his best to resolve the situation. This was certainly appreciated. Finally he contacted Associated on N. Adams street in Green Bay and said Brad would assist me as soon as I could come in. Great! Indeed, Brad Hanold, the Branch Manager fit me in and took care of everything. Brad was professional and courteous. His personality was calming and his knowledge made the transaction smooth and effortless. I left satisfied and at ease.     Customer service rep Aleeah at Nicolet Bank just hung up on my husband, who has proven to be the…read moremost patient and loyal customer for over a decade and most especially during the past 10 months. Since May, this bank has given him the absolute runaround over a Hertz car rental SNAFU, which thankfully was finally resolved with Hertz but still not with Nicolet. Today, while trying to book flights for an international trip, Nicolet wouldn't authorize his debit or credit cards, despite him acknowledging the fraud alerts to both via the multiple texts and despite CALLING for help. The fraud alert agent unsuccessfully tried to authorize both cards before transferring him to Aleeah, who also tried before saying they can't do anything more on the weekend. These are his banking cards with plenty of money available to use. When we both tried to express our frustration, we were hung up on before even a complete sentence was uttered. I used my Capital One credit card once, and boom. Done. Flights are booked. This is the second time we had to use it for this trip because of the same issue, but we offered grace the first time. Getting hung up on ended any grace, patience, or loyalty for this bank. On Monday, we will start moving all our accounts over to Capital Credit Union, which holds our home and auto loans and has always been wonderful. In fact, every other banking institution with which we have worked in our adult lives has been wonderful. I don't know why Nicolet can't provide the same level of service, but we are absolutely done.

When it does, it greatly limits the viewable account information. This week, I could not access any credit card information at all for three days. Zelle is frequently not available. I prefer to have charge notifications so that I can be aware of fraudulent charges but they also randomly notify you of your entire credit card balance. So, if you're sitting somewhere with your phone locked and facing up, anyone nearby can also see your card balance. I dislike their new digital format so much that we are quite seriously considering changing banks.
