I absolutely love this place! I started going here back in 2018 when I went to UNG cumming campus for a quiet and comfortable/cozy place to study. I always like to chose a local business over a large corporation (especially when the product is better). That saying, coffee is always good and tho I'm not vegan or gluten free I decided to try their home made pop tarts and they were 10X better than the fake sugar stuff... blew my mind honestly. They're almost always sold out of them if you don't get there early in the morning. Staff is always very nice even when they're busy. I worked as a delivery driver and delivered to the owners house once and they were sweet and happy to hear how much I loved the Comunity Cup. read more

This place is sort of cute and was near where I had to wait for an appointment. The people seem polite and nice. The coffee was so meh however. The dark mocha was bad and I'm a big mocha girl and I like dark stuff but this was not good at all. The remnants of the mocha powder were not stirred very well and settled at the bottom which I saw once I reached the end of my cup. I got a small size and the coffee was WEAK. I asked the barista and it's the equivalent of half a shot. Even Starbucks does better with the price I'm paying how can it not even be a shot? Anyways coffee is a big pass up. What an awesome environment this is! I was having breakfast nearby and needed a place to get some work done so decided to check this place out and I'm so glad I did! They have specials most days and I happened to stop in on $3 mocha Monday's. They have a wide variety of coffees, tees, juices, and more. The coffees can be customized with flavor add ins or a wide variety of dairy or nondairy milks. They are opened throughout the day with drinks, breakfast, pastries, sandwiches, and more. They have a bar area and plenty of seating in the front or back with everything having a cozy vibe to it. The service was super friendly with the staff very knowledgeable about their menu and it was a great place to hangout for a few hours. They also had a small table I noticed outside. It can get loud inside when it's busy so might be good to bring some headphones, but when it wasn't crowded it was pretty quiet. They have TVs throughout as well. I will definitely will be back! They had some pretty extravagant drink options that were beautifully presented so can't wait to come back and try one! read more

It is the place you want to go when you need a good drink, whether you know what that is or are looking for a new recommendation, but don't want to make it yourself or drink it at home. The service is incredible. If you don't get what you want, ask, they will make it right. I don't know what the "burnt beans", "Snippy service", and weak espresso noise is in other reviews other than people who should have spoken up. This is my daughter's favorite place. I ordered enough delicousness for her and her marching band section for her birthday, called ahead and it was ready when I walked in. I mean! Does it get better than that? Besides the taste, quality, and atmosphere, this place is a jewel for Forsyth County. The owner designed it to be a place that does 2 things--has a place for everyone, including the little "coffee" drinkers and to give back. If you don't already know, the place is committed to giving back to CURE Childhood Cancer every year and a local organization each month. This café is amazing, I love coming after church for my coffee. The staff is lovely and to make it even better, they're a small business which is always a big thumbs up for me! Not personally vegan myself but I love that they are inclusive and provide options with those who are on a restricted diet. I love that they also have low sugar and sugar free options as my sister, and myself are diabetic and need to watch our sugar levels. Brought my granddaughter here when she was visiting and the staff were so friendly and interactive with her. Definitely better than other cafes in Cumming I have taken her to while she was visiting. I have been getting my coffee with them for the past two and a half years and I have no plans of removing them from my #1 spot. The espresso was weak and it did not taste like the beans were fresh. It tasted like they were using stale medium roast instead of the slightly bitter, acidic, sweetness your normally espresso beans. I am not sure who is their bean supplier but they need to change. The owner's seemed very nice and friendly but the coffee comes first at a coffee shop. I love coffee shops and this is easily a favorite even though it just opened three weeks ago. It's quiet, quaint but spacious and the service is friendly. Really they had me at S'mores mocha and Prince! Yes they have great taste in music and it's not too loud. The guy who was working the register was amazing! Super nice and informative and just had a great attitude! Other than that the experience was ok at best. The pretzel bites with beer cheese where the best thing we had. My mother had a strawberry shortcake latte, it had way to much ice in the cup to the amount of coffee but the taste was pretty good. I had the dark s'mores mocha latte and it was disgusting. It was very watery and tasted like powder. The marshmallow topping was just gross and sunk to the bottom of the drink. This place needs a lot of work food wise. The only reason I gave two stars was for the awesome dude who we talked to and the beer cheese. read more

Love it! We try to go in every weekend since moving to the area. The staff is wonderful. They are very pleasant and offer ideas if you want to try something new and mix a few flavors that aren't already on the menu. You can tell they enjoy what they do and aren't just there to slap a cup of joe across the counter to you and hustle on to the next. Wife loves the variety as she's a bean nut and son loves the fun and funky little treats they offer. Additionally, they donate a portion of profits to Curing Kids Cancer which is a foundation that I love and will support any business that supports them, as well. Great local place for any age. We've been a few times now and enjoy the coffee, food and treats here. The owner is always full of smiles and it's just a happy place to hang out. I had the P'nut and Vanilla Latte which was awesome. The owner even split it for me and my husband to both try it. Since he isn't a coffee drinker. We had some sort of berry vegan cheesecake and it was delicious and we aren't vegan. My son had a cupcake as well. We hung out for quite a while and no one there minded. We also had biscuits there. I always get their mocha with oat milk, which is great, but today I tried it with hemp milk, and it was even better! Non-dairy drinkers will not be disappointed. My lady and I are always searching for the best local coffee house. This is not it. The good: Nice barista. Cool location. The bad: Mediocre coffee (yes I know good coffee when I taste it). I try to remember that coffee is highly variable based on many different factors but this was not impressive (admittedly on a single visit). Bland, not-so-fresh baked goods - the blueberry muffin was especially suspect. Crumbly, not moist, blueberries didn't seem fresh. The Interior: Ok it's not bad. But not good either. Not homey... kinda sterile. More like an old school drugstore less than a neighborhood coffee shop. It's... okay. The Ugly: You may need to take a second mortgage out on your home to get a couple muffins and cups of coffee. Ours was around 18 dollars. These prices are among the highest I've seen, comparable to great boutique coffee shops like Dancing Goats in Buckhead. But nothing about the place warrants those prices. Verdict: I wanted to like it. But I didn't. It's not very good, and they charge an arm and a leg. read more

Home from college and needed a place to study for a while - Community Cup is perfect! There's seating on both sides of the bar. This side has tables with all cushioned chairs on the side I'm on, and the half bench half chairs as pictured. The other side has high top bar seating along the window. They are locally owned and have a display of products from other locally owned business which I love! The coffee is a little more expensive than you might find at Starbucks but to me it is a small price to pay to support a local business. Even on a gray sky day, the shop is well lit with natural light and the staff is so welcoming and happy to answer any questions about the menu. They also advertise on their menu that they are the only place in Cumming that does nitro cold brew (if you're into that kind of thing). I'm very happy to have found this local coffee shop! read more

Stopped in for a mini breakfast today and it felt like I was somewhere other than a town that boasts a Jail, Lynchings, and Courthouse as its main tourist attraction. I never knew about this place until a friend chose it as a meeting spot for us. It's kind of tucked in a not so obvious place. We explained to staff that we hadn't been there before and staff was super friendly, welcomed us, and explained things and gave us suggestions. My vanilla latte was the best! It was served to our table in a glass mug with a delicious and unexpected topping on it. They bus your table when you're done. It is a warm, friendly, cozy atmosphere. I've never had a mocha with oat milk before until I came here. I am extremely satisfied with my new discovery. The variety here is great and they even have specialty drinks for kids. And for those that have too many kids they even serve adult drinks (alcohol)! I love this shop. It's decorated very cozy, it's in a quieter area of town, and a really convenient meet up place with friends. I can take work there when my house is too loud and sit in a quiet corner with it to focus. It's bright, well lit, bathrooms are clean, and just as a neat touch they have little things for sale from local businesses and artists. I liked the nitro brew drink I had, it was a new experience for me. It wasn't coffee, but it was like a lemonade type of thing I had with my my chicken salad sandwich. I really liked both! I'll order the sandwich again for sure. My friend said her blueberry muffin was great. The employees were a highlight, as well. They were chatting amongst each other while they worked, fostering a good atmosphere that was comfortable and laid back.
