Excellent care! I'm from out of town and working in the area. After an accident at work, I came here seeking some help. Staff was great, doctor was great, and the service was great. Great job on the stiches! Now, all I need to do is not smack myself in the face with hand tools :-) Would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing some medical help. read more

The x-ray tech working today was s lazy. She knew I was here for a foot injury. She stood at the door and told me she's here to take me to get an x-ray. I am sitting I a whelk chair for the fact I cannot put weight on my foot. She stood there and told me to drive the wheel chair myself. Thank goodness my daughter was with me to assist. She offer times no help to get in or off the table. She may have something against skin clot or unhappy with her job. regardless why her issue is... she needs to get over or find a new profession. Over all care less the x-ray tech was 3.5. The X-ray tech was a -5 read more

I have been using this clinic on and off for the last 6 yrs for myself and my family. Today I was treated like a drug seeking addict for requesting a refill of my ordered medication- despite it being within the correct time frame. The "available prescriber"- Colton, refused to write the refill: despite having seen me before a few months earlier. Despite working in the same office as my PCP( Trevor) who wrote the rx. Despite Trevor having seen me one month earlier. Trevor's nurse, when ask why, stated "it's Adderall - you aren't going to die if you miss a week". Also "this is why we tell you to not wait until you are out of meds." (I called to request the refill the Fri before and spoke with a nurse on the phone who said she would call back ..4 hrs later I called again that same day and was sent to VM- no one contacted me in the following 4 days and my family and I were in Colorado attending a family funeral.) When I got back into town tue morning I found out Trevor was out for a week for the 4th of July and wouldn't be back until my family and I were 8 hrs away for a family reunion. I asked Colter to write a Rx for the week only-- since he refused to refill for the month- he refused, stating that "because it's controlled (I needed to see my PCP). He then went on to say that "MOST PEOPLE ONLY TAKE IT ON WORK DAYS " . Unfortunately (for me) my (diagnosed and documented) mental health disorder is actually a 24-7 condition and it doesn't care if I am working or not. Additionally the order reads take DAILY- Not doing so would litterly mean I was not taking as ordered. Do better. Have some empathy. Do your research. Unacceptable. Educate your providers. read more

My family has been to this location several times, and we have had nothing but positive experiences. From the front desk to medical assistants to medical providers, everyone is kind and makes the experience of being unwell a little less difficult on patients. I wish all quick/urgent cares were like this one. read more

I award five (5) stars on the grounds of the quality. The providers are highly competent. I am another doctor (with no known conflicts of interest) in town, and I send my patients there when I am not available. I have been a patient there myself and even refer my family. The service is good. My understanding is that the baseline value (without diagnostic testing or treatment) is the best in town among non-free clinics. read more

I'm a disabled veteran here in Idaho for 2 months. It's a having throat pain around my glands and also upper chest pains. They drew blood for a blood test and recommended I get a cat scan and a ultrasound of my throat. They said they would call in a couple days with an appointment. A day later they called and said I needed to call the VA. So I did and the VA said they never called them. Also they lost my blood sample and told me I needed to go give another. Two weeks later and nothing on the cat scan or ultrasound. I've called and left a message with krystal their referral coordinator and she has ignored my call. I guess I'm just not important to these people. Meanwhile my throat has gotten worse and I'm afraid of what it could be. They are an approved VA vendor but they care nothing of veterans. And they do not do their job.I have resorted to going to the VA clinic back in Mesa Arizona. read more

I've had billing problems 3 times where they didn't put in birthdate correctly. My wife had the same issue and exactly 3 times with the wrong date. What's the chances of that? We had Dr.Trevor B. And he was good. After reading the comments from other patients I wonder if they have another Doctor that has too many bad days. I hope they improve their standing in the community. The need some experienced office workers that pay attention to detail and know insurance protocol and proficiently in which ever software program they use for inputting in birthdays over the course of three months. That's just unacceptable and shows me that they don't know how to plan organize and prioritize information for their money coming into their business. read more

My experience with these people is that they're fast, efficient, knowledgeable and kind. These people don't snoop and pry into your life which I find refreshing, or become detailed concerning matters that really don't concern them, some people might want lots of attention in various ways from their NP or Doctors but I really like keeping things short, sweet and to the point. I've been very satisfied with the care I've received from Community Care. read more

Tried to get refill on my prescription and completely got the run around!! No one seems to know what the hell is goin on there. Do not recommend at all. read more

I was sure I had strep throat, so I needed antibiotics so I could get back to work. First of all, the building is very clean and well-decorated. Very inviting and quiet. The staff seemed to enjoy working there. The two ladies who checked my blood pressure were so nice and upbeat. Then the doctor didn't make me wait forever like my primary care doctor. He knew right away that I had strep throat when he saw it. This visit was so easy and pleasant, just what I need when I am really sick. read more

For a while my husband and I had good experiences going here and it was nice to have a Drs office with later hours for those who can't take time off from work. We recently had an encounter with the DO there that voided all of those good experiences, sadly. My husband visited this location looking to get a prescription for his depression and anxiety, since it had gotten really bad all of a sudden. We ended up receiving a 1-1.5 hour lecture from the dr on mental health and how medication is bad. He even got visably upset with me for stating, when asked, that medication had helped my husband in the past. In addition to that he proceeded to tell us that if someone had depression and wants to kill themselves they will and there is nothing he or anyone can do about it. In my book that is a completely unacceptable and inappropriate statement to make to a patient as a medical professional. read more

I have been to this community care 2 times now and they have no idea what or how to help. The dr that has help us was so incredibly rude that I will never go back to this place. To be treated in such a manner was insulting. read more

In terms of the care that I needed, this place is adequate. The PA and nurses were nice. But it's extremely expensive. They charge $299 just for signing in. I have visited similar clinics in other cities that provide better care for literally half of the cost. I only went to this place because of it's proximity to my apartment. Next time I will be sure to do thorough research on local clinics instead of going to the closest one google can find. Being sick was a setback for me, but this place has me feeling so taken advantage of. read more

Super impressed! Loved the PA there, he was kind, transparent and thorough. Aside from the thousands of paperwork you have to fill out and the outdated office (who cares, right?) it was a great facility and experience. read more

My other half went in with a swollen ankle they were all very friendly had a very short wait time . Went back to see Dr they asked how much pain he was in and he told them he was in severe pain, they rushed him to do x-ray which maybe took 1-15 minutes and then he was back they told him he had broken bone but that he would need to see a specialist ... put a boot on him an told him he should find some crutches and prescribed him for pain pills but didn't give him anything for the pain at the time of visit or offer crutches ... well after visiting with a specialist the x ray they took wasn't done right so had to have a new one done and didn't need the boot after all it did no good for the break he had..... read more

My mother came here with a very bad cold. Doc who saw her acted totally bored. Didn't even look down her throat. Told her she had a cold. It's day 6 and she's still very very sick. I'm pretty sure he messed up his diagnosis because he was too bored to do a thorough exam. Now we're headed to a real doctor. Hope my mom survives!!! You get what you pay for folks!! read more

These are the rudest most unprofessional people I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. They only want to handle people who do not need medication and might have a sniffle. I went to fill a prescription for high blood pressure and they said they couldn't help me I needed to pick another dr from a list they gave me. What a bunch of crap. The nurse stood right outside my door and said to the dr I never saw that my story was...... it's not a freaking story. It's my life. And it's the truth. read more

Every time I've been to Community Care. They have made me feel like I was well taken care of, like a mother would. I don't know how they could even improve as far as I'm concerned. In an emergency, they would be my first choice, Thank you so much Community Care for being there. read more

I hesitantly went to this community care of having nothing but bad experiences every time I've ever gone to one. I have permanent scars from 14 years ago due to a community care not knowing how to use liquid nitrogen. I went there another time 6 years ago in excruciating pain due to an abscess. The doctor said, "I can't feel anything" and sent me on my way with an antibiotic. 2 days later it ruptured causing problems that still leave me with complications today. Yet again I probably should have sued, but didn't know the problems that can result from something like that. This last I went in due to a sore throat. It's a very weird sore throat with no other symptoms whatsoever. It only hurts when I swallow and burns when any food or liquid goes down (including water). They had no idea and suggest a throat culture which takes "about 2 days." It's now been 4 days and they just informed me I wouldn't be called with the results until at least Monday (2 more days). So 2 weeks after my sore throat started I might have a treatment! Never again. These people are worthless. Service has always been slow, but that seems to be the norm for any doctors office now days. My first two incidents happened in Rexburg and the Second in Idaho Falls. I wouldn't ever recommend anybody visit ANY community care. read more

I have visited this location multiple times. The wait time has always been short, and the staff mostly quite friendly. However, if you don't have insurance, be prepared to fork over a lot of money. I have been charged, what I feel, were unfair costs 2 separate times now. A week ago, I went in for an illness, as my regular Drs office was closed for the week. I was told the visit would start at $136, and go up if any tests etc were necessary. I was seen by the Dr & prescribed antibiotics. When I checked out, I was charged $197. I had no tests, so I was confused. I was sick, and wanted to go home, so I payed it, assuming the charges would be outlined on my receipt. They were not. I called the next week when I was feeling better, to find out why I had been charged so much. I was told that since I hadn't been seen there for 3 years, I was charged as a new patient. I feel this was unreasonable, and that it was unfair that they didn't disclose that info to me when I asked about price before being seen. The lady I spoke with on the phone was very short with me. I told her I knew she couldn't do anything about it, but that they really needed to disclose that info before an appointment. I would have been satisfied with an apology, but instead she talked over me, trying to justify no one having told me. I could have gone many other places for that price, and you can be assured that I will do just that in the future. read more
