The whole thing just felt like a stretch. I won't go into too much detail, so I don't ruin the surprise if you do decide to check this room out, but the locks were hard to open and when we did have a combination right sometimes we thought that we were wrong because we couldn't get the lock to open and ended up wasting more time when we in fact had it right. Many of us kind of gave up in the middle of the whole thing because it wasn't challenging or exciting; it was mostly just frustrating. I have been to other escape rooms in the past where the staff made us feel pumped and welcome when we got there, thus enhancing the experience. I did not get that feeling here; even when we received clues the lady who said she would be watching and listening to know where we were at had no idea how far into the puzzle we were or what we needed next. She gave us the wrong clues or clues that didn't apply yet because we weren't that far along. We spent more time explaining to her what we needed help with. And FYI they do not accept Groupon deals on Saturdays.

You know, a cipher with many layers of translation (colors, letters, numbers, words) which make it more convoluted but not particularly clever or intriguing. No coherent storyline. When we would ask for a hint (unlimited hints are offered) the Game Master would ask several questions to ascertain our progress. Questions which could easily have been answered by watching us through the video or noticing that, yes a drawer was open or an item was in a particular place. You should not have to spend that much time describing to the GM where/what is happening in the room. My biggest complaint is that after time ran out they would not explain how to solve the room. I would've been satisfied with a brief summary. We had two children with us and we were playing the game at a leisurely pace. If we had thought we would not be shown the final solution we would've asked for more hints during the game. We also probably would've chosen an easier room. Their website clearly stated, "If after 60 minutes your group is still 'trapped' our game master can show you the solution - if you want it!" We DID want it, but they refused. (The website was changed shortly after.) In an email response to my complaint the owner told me, "The website stated we CAN show you the unsolved puzzles but does not require us to do so..."

The lower unit on my Mercury Optimax 150 froze. When I checked the oil, only a few ounces came out…read more Sportsman's was the last to service it in December 2022 when they changed the oil and replaced the impeller. It appears they did not refill the lower unit with oil (see photo). There is no sign of an oil leak after running the boat many times since I refilled it. They have no explanation of where the oil went but claim they are not responsible. I even asked if a pressure test concluded there was no leak would that be an indication that they didn't fill it with oil, but they said it couldn't possibly be their fault. I have been a loyal annual customer since 2012, but they have now told me to take my business elsewhere. I recommend not doing business with their service department. If I find a leak, I will gladly update this review.

(Full disclosure: I once taught a crafts workshop here, so I'm technically a contract employee of Warrensburg Parks & Rec, but haven't had an active connection with them for a few years.) The facility was built in the last decade, so everything is still relatively new & fresh-looking. They offer A LOT here: 1. Full-sized indoor competition pool, home of the Piranhas swim team 2. A big water slide! 3. A large indoor play-pool for the little ones 4. Senior center, with a full range of activities & a meal program 5. Party rooms to rent. Had a kid's birthday party here once, they were very helpful about set-up and all that. 6. Full-sized indoor basketball court 7. Indoor climate-controlled track (about 1/10 mi) 8. Large & well-equipped weight room with treadmills, ellipticals, etc. 9. An extensive calendar of fitness classes (aerobics to Zumba) 10. Lots of evening craft classes, workshops, adult-activity classes, etc. I once took a six-week ballroom dance class here & had a blast. Many of these things are free with your WCC ID; others are just a few bucks. Ask at the front desk. The track is free; weight room is $2 per use; pool is $3. You can also get monthly passes for most things. Cost of classes vary but everything I've looked at seems reasonable.

It also has a large pool for lap swimming which they keep at a great warmer temperature. They have a family dressing room which is nice. The outdoor pool has a huge play area and beach entrance for the kids, plus a big pool and a nice lazy river. If I remember correctly it's $5 for the pool, but if you go in the evenings after 5, it's half price. They also have lots of activities for kids that we take advantage of such as kids night in, swim camp, all sports, Easter egg hunts, etc. The prices are extremely reasonable. The kids night in is the first Friday of the month and costs only $10 which includes pizza and swimming from 5:30-10:00, can't pay a babysitter for that amount plus they have so much more fun. The sports (3-6 age) run about $35 for the ones we've played: t-ball, basketball and soccer all which include a t-shirt. We also had a birthday party there which was a lot of fun. The rooms to rent was $19 an hour plus we had to pay the entrance fee to the pool for the kids (I think it was about $4 or $5 each). Overall, we love the community center and think it offers great programs for families.

We signed him up with USA BMX and started taking him out twice a week for races. This year, when he turned 4 we decided to get him a racing bike with pedals and let him start racing on "the big track". We paid for his upgraded membership to USA BMX and we haven't looked back! The track operators, Scott and Molly, are amazing. We felt so welcomed by all of the other experience families there and we are so glad that we have found a sport our little guy gets jazzed about each week. The track is well cared for, it's difficult (at least according to my little guy) but not impossible and has asphalt berms. This year they added a seriously awesome pro section. It's free to come watch and once a year they host Olympic Day where anyone can come race for free.

You can find the same services at other gyms in the area for half the price and with better customer service. If you're a college student or in the military, I strongly recommend avoiding this gym, as their policies seem designed to trap you financially. - Here's why I'm giving them 1 star: *Their prices are double what other gyms charge in Warrensburg. *The owner is unfriendly and unwelcoming. *The contract buyout fee is outrageous--$300 or more, often higher than other gyms in Missouri. They charge whichever amount benefits them most (either $300 or 50% of your remaining contract, whichever is higher). CHECK THE TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT - When I graduated and moved 50+ miles away, I was told that since I was a consistent customer for many years I could avoid the buyout fee if I gave them a month's notice. When I did, that offer was suddenly "no longer available," and they demanded $450 to cancel my contract. After negotiating, they agreed to $200 but required it in cash within three days, even though they had my card on file. Out of all the teams we have been on the amount of LOVE AND SUPPORT we have gotten from NJE (even after moving on to dance) is beyond amazing. I've never in my life had a team that truly makes you feel like it's more than just a team...it's FAMILY!! Yes it's still a business and they need to make money but it has never felt that way. How many coaches do you know who will take time to surprise EVERY athlete on their team whom made it is Disney by showing up at THEIR SCHOOL to give them a congratulations gift? That's right. They drove all around the KC area to surprise their girls for winning a bid to "The Summit" (the Super Bowl of cheer if you will). Now this is my youngest second year of not cheering. She had switched over to dance a year and a half ago. How many of you could say your ex coaches and teammates/parents would pay to come watch your child perform at their new dance studio? ‍Well I can tell you out of all the coaches my kids have had NJE are the only one that has does this. This is what touches me deep in my heart and they will FOREVER be a part of my family! This is what these kids need to see. Love/caring/kindness and to me THIS is winning! (Yes they do actually win competitions also. Lol but this is more important to me than anything) They are the perfect balance of being tough on your child when needed and expect them to give 100% and when they do great they know how to show the athletes how proud they are of them. If we ever go back to cheer (which she is talking about it ) we would only go back there. Oh and speaking of they are the only gym I know that does not have the drama and when a girl leaves they almost always come back.
