Interesting spot attached to a church. Parking threw us for a loop as they blocked off their direct entrance on a Sunday morning and was funneling through the church entrance off the side road. Ample seating inside and out and was not very busy at 1030am. Service was friendly and attentive. Brunch menu had less options on it than the version online but had a decent amount of breakfast and lunch items (ie burger, wings, salads, pizza). Wife ordered western omelette and I went with the choose your own bfast with eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, and a biscuit. Food definitely took too long to come out (30 min after we ordered) but it was good once it finally came out (biscuit was huge and fluffy). Couple other observations, good many kids here bc of location to the church and the fact they have a playground area. Wasn't as loud as you'd expect but there were some toddlers wandering around at times. Also, with the open front door and raise up garage doors, we were hounded incessantly by flies during our meal.

CYO breakfast. Egg whites, bacon, biscuit and potato's.

The online menu is different from the one in store. We went for Brunch over the weekend and were disappointed in the items I was hoping to get. Service was fine. Restaurant was very clean.

Burger week continues and on Thursday, first stop is a restaurant I've never visited. Affiliated with a local church, I applaud their mission to support recovering addicts. The burger wasn't bad, and I think there were some missed opportunities to really accentuate flavors with just some minor tweaking of the ingredients, as an example, the candied jalapeños were just too tiny to contribute to the overall flavor. Service was good, a very friendly and helpful staff. Clean restaurant, but rather cold and plain.

The place is very clean, friendly staff and it's really big. Apparently it's connected next to a church which is cool. Imagine having service and going next door for lunch and fellowship. The food was very good. I had a pimento on sourdough bread meal, they brought the wrong order in but was so apologetic and even took it off the bill, which I'm really grateful for but it wasn't that big of deal for me. It was a kind gesture and they deserve 5 stars. Love them for that. We were out of towners, just got done seeing rock city and googled some food places and found the perfect spot.

Milk & Honey is known as the best of the best for brunch in Chattanooga, and after eating here I…read morestand by that statement. I remember back in the day when Milk & Honey had late hours. One time my parents and I came here after dinner for their gelato, and it was so delicious. We were all very impressed with the consistency and how smooth it was. So I've only had their gelato after all these years. This time I came for brunch with a friend on Sunday morning. It was packed and we got on the waiting list for a table. Wait time wasn't too bad actually. My friend and I both ordered the Hodgepodge Hash and I subbed the sausage for chicken sausage. Everything was absolutely amazing. I wish I had come here sooner. I loved everything about my meal. It was flavorful, dynamic, full of texture. It had that spice from the serrano peppers, crispy and flavorful potatoes, and the sauce tied it all together. I love savory breakfast, and that was it. Now I'm hungry and missing my previous meal just writing about it haha. Afterwards, we got gelato! I was pleasantly surprised that the gelato came with two scoops because I originally just wanted the coffee flavored one. So I had a scoop of Coffee + Cream and Pistachio. Our gelato was so tasty. I love anything coffee so this one was good, and the Pistachio one was nice and light. It had a subtle Pistachio creamy taste. Just as before, the gelato was smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. Service was great, our waiter was very friendly and super helpful with our food preferences. I have no complaints at all about our experience, and I love every single thing we ordered. I can't imagine a better place to spend Sunday brunch. I look forward to the next time I'm back, thank you!

Please take this review with a grain of salt. Today was probably not an exemplary day for Milk &…read moreHoney. Mother's Days are challenging, but I think where they hurt themselves the most is that they do not have a method to take reservations or even call ahead seating. Wait times were often in excess of an hour listening to other people waiting to be seated. That's a horrible experience on its face, and the management of this restaurant needs to do much much better or just close on Mother's Day. Next, we'll get to the food. I doubt it was a shining example of what they are capable of. I got the Shakshuka and it was mediocre. I'm not expecting it to be as good as what I would get in Tel Aviv, and I've had the real thing in Tel Aviv. But to be honest, the eggs came out nearly hard-boiled not poached. And the eggs are one of the stars of the show for this dish. If you don't get them right, the entire dish fails. Next will touch on the chicken and waffles. The observation from my tablemate was that it was dry and he didn't even eat it all. The same thing can be said for my other tablemate who had the chicken biscuit. The biscuit was exemplary, but the chicken was dry and actually overcooked. Then there were the omelettes, I don't believe they were impressive in any way and the people that ordered them agree. For those of us at the table that ordered coffee, it was rather strong. I normally like strong coffee, but this was borderline Turkish coffee, and there wasn't enough cream available to mask the potency. The service was also stretched thin. Our server, Destiny, did her best, but she was waiting too many tables. Having once been a waitermyself I have a special affinity for Service staff who are asked to do too much. We left her a good tip, but I'm sure she is capable of much better service than what she was allowed to deliver. Finally, the overwhelming crowd made the restaurant feel claustrophobic. The noise level was far too high, and we could barely hear one another at our table and we were sitting very close to one another. I don't place the blame on the kitchen, staff, or the wait staff, or even the greeters. This was a fail of management, plain and simple. They made no contingency plans for that many people and should have anticipated a larger crowd on Mother's Day. Management -I challenge you to do better!!! We will come back during a normal Service day to see if you can perform better, but I encourage you, as owners and managers, to stop setting your staff up for failure, which is what you did!

The vibe is relaxed and social, great patio energy, easy place to hang out with friends, and it feels lively without being overwhelming. The food was solid. Tasty, well prepared, good portions, but nothing that blew me away or felt dramatically different from other brunch spots I've tried. That said, the pricing felt fair. I had the breakfast sandwich and my wife had the Mexican Omelette. The Bloody Mary was actually really good, balanced and flavorful. I was a little surprised they didn't have any stuffed olives (my go-to garnish), and the server wasn't familiar with them, which caught me off guard. Not a big deal, just unexpected. The only real hiccup was at the end. Our ticket got mixed up and I tried having the server correct it. He said he would at the computer, he took our cards and I get a receipt where my card was charged on another ticket. So I ended up paying for someone else's food. It wasn't intentional and these things happen, but it was a frustrating way to wrap up the meal. Overall, I'd come back. Good atmosphere, fair prices, solid food. It's not a "must plan your whole weekend around it" spot for me, but it's a dependable option if you're in the area.

For meals, I got the Niedlov's Breakfast and my friend got the Ham and Gruyère Skillet. I loved what I got, but when I go again I think I will try a skillet because they all smelled amazing! I also got a Gruyère Bacon Chive Scone and a Orange Pan Suisse to take on the road. Both were outstanding. For my drink, I got one of their Blueberry Basil Matcha. I was a little nervous about the basil, but I can genuinely say it was my favorite drink of my entire trip. Lastly I want to say a special thank you to the staff. We thought we weren't going to be able to find a table, but when we found one at the last second, they actually offered to switch my meal to a skillet since they can't do those to go. I wasn't too sure where to stand when I entered off the patio side on this lovely early afternoon, but when I figured out where the hosting station was, I was welcomed and seated in a spot I would have chosen for myself. Sometimes people sit single dudes in odd spots because maybe they don't think we care about kitchen doors and dark corners, but I had a really nice table where I could soak up the retro revamped vibe. I doubled the eggs order to four and chose the bacon and added a side of stewed black beans (so glad I did). First, I started with a glass of Beaujolais, which was quite nice. When the food arrived, the first thing that struck me was that I got cold butter in its own nice tin. I can't tell you how uncommon this is, even in finer dining. Usually, you get olive oil instead of butter, and if you ask for butter, it's in one of those wrappers. This was the real thing, not whipped, and I didn't have to ask specially for it. The eggs were delicate and seasoned beautifully, and the bacon was hearty and high-end and crispy. The grits are unbelievable, and the stewed beans are homemade and subtle, smooth as butter. I was amazed; the sides were really at the forefront. The kitchen isn't fast, so don't be in a hurry when you're here. Even the glass of wine took a few, and it was not busy. But it's also a nice place to relax and soak up the ambience, either indoors or out. And I appreciated that the food was so well made that I didn't mind the wait. Hats off to Stafford, who was my server. She checked up on me frequently. She was efficient and personable. They are lucky to have her! I had a beautifully crafted cortado espresso at the end, served traditionally with the fizzy water on the side. This is my favorite espresso as it is a strong pour but has just a bit of hot milk at the top to cut the acidity. It was excellent. Frankly, I was impressed they even knew what it was, so if you're just getting coffee, they'll also be the right place. I obviously recommend this place for its food, ambience, service. It was a treat and I hope to go back next time I'm in town.

The side of chili had a slight twist that elevated it above most regular chili recipes. It was good, but had a little too much corn for my taste personally. The beet juice was delicious and a generous portion. The desserts were just okay, but I appreciated that they weren't overly sweet and didn't have any weird ingredients.
