This very well may be the smallest commissary in existence, well in Germany anyway. However, they do one heck of a job with the square footage available.
A good little deli in there, a pulse on what's needed, e.g. bottled water, non perishables and so on. Certainly not their fault, but what I've noticed here in Germany is a challenge to obtain and shelve fresh bread. It seems by the time it gets here from the states it's already on its way to stale. However, that's clearly a contracting issue, not an individual commissary screwing things up.
Not as if Soldiers and their family members have a choice to go anywhere else, but these guys do their best, that's for certain. read more
