However, after calling one shop, they recommended their sister shop, and Glen and his team truly went above and beyond to help us. Even though they were busy, they worked us into their tight schedule at the last minute and repaired our truck quickly so we could enjoy our camping trip. From start to finish their customer service and communication we're outstanding. They treated us with kindness and made what could've been a major road trip disaster more manageable. I went to pick up the car and he said the brakes look good. I knew there was a leak and the bleeder screw for one of the calipers were broke. Yet the brakes look good. We asked why this problem had not be caught when the tune up was completed. Additionally, we had no problems with the lifter before being serviced here. The mechanic could not tell us who worked on the vehicle, nor why the problem was not pointed out. We paid around a $1000 for the tune up, and now we are forced to pay an additional $2000+ for a problem that was never one to begin with. I am extremely disappointed with the answers we received and service. I took my vehicle in for routine maintenance and it came back with an even bigger problem.

Since returning to the Salina area from out of state, we've had Virg's work on our stuff- both…read moreforeign and domestic- four times. Our problems included brakes, engine replacement, driveline repair, and electrical. We have been very satisfied each time. Our Jeep brakes, for example, now have a lifetime warranty as do some of the other repairs. I have never encountered this elsewhere. Virg and the staff have been very good at explaining the recommended course of action and the alternatives. We have never had a hint of upselling there- and in a couple of instances, Virg shopped around to find the best price on an expensive part. I've been in shops where it looks like they want to turn a simple repair into a complete restoration, and it's no fun. As we recall, Virg's shop has been here for around 40 years.
