Recently relocated to NE Georgia and have used this facility in the past with some negative thoughts about the veterinarian who saw my dog but decided to schedule an appt with the vet recommended by a family member. This Dr wasn't available on a Thursday or Friday but was told Monday for sure. Monday comes, I'm there 8:45 (Monday was a walkin day/No appts) with two people ahead of me. The two ahead were called to a room and immediately a new walkin was taken. Then a second walking right by me. After the fourth walkin was shown a room I walked out. As I got to my vehicle I saw a rep calling me from the door. Sorry you should have more respect for customers. I went to a clinic in Ila Ga and was very pleased. Won't go back to Commerce Vet Hospital. read more

This place has really gone down hill. Been coming here 30+ years. Since Dr Phillips left the day to day operations and turned over to these new way vets this place is terrible. Walked in (no appointment) was the 2nd WI, waited over 1hr to see a vet. Was told they only had 1 walk in vet. Since I was number 2 that day can anyone ever tell me when a vet spent an hour with you checking your animal? And no it was not an emergency before me it was a checkup. These ppl lie to your face. These people told me my dog had a brain tumor after five minutes of seeing him, and immediately telling me to go elsewhere. I asked for a referral and they said i didn't need one, even after i spoke with the place they told me to go and was told i needed to get one. Within 10 minutes i was taking my dog to the UNG teaching vet hospital. Upon arrive they took him back, questioned me for 30 minutes and then told me he had just ate something toxic and was going to be okay. Nobody should have the right to scare someone that much over something so small, they could have just done their jobs instead of putting ideas in my head that my dog was going to die ( the vet told me he probably wouldn't live long because of his "brain tumor". Do yourself a favor and take your fur babies somewhere else. read more

I have been going to Commerce veterinary hospital for over 20 years never had any problems. About a month ago I took my fur baby to the hospital because she was not eating and she couldn't keep any thing on her stomach I left her there the doctor told me her blood count was low and she needed a blood transfusion they gave her the treatment the doctor called and she was doing good about 11.00 am. So about 4pm I called back and the doctor told me she was declining but she wanted to keep her in the hospital overnight alone my baby passed the same night I decided to bring her home if I didn't she would have died alone. The doctor didn't call me to let me know that my baby was not doing well i didn't think that was professional or she just didn't care I had the right to know she had taken a turn for the worst. I will not be going back to Commerce Veterinary Hospital . read more

I haven't had a bad experience here, which does not render 5 stars. However, I really have to commend Dr. Crouch and his manner of treatment of my 13 year old puppy and his attitude towards me and/or my wife. He is a good guy and always makes me feel good about bringing my pup in to see him. read more

There is a very caring staff awaiting your fur-kid at the vets office here. The docs take very good care of my cats and dog. I took a tiny kitten there when he was having trouble eating. He would cry and get all upset. It was awful to see him in pain. They checked him over and he got some stomach medicine and now is a great cat and will soon be going for his neuter. Don't tell Nim though. He just thinks he's going for his first car ride. read more

The receptionists have always been courteous to me, and the vets here are great I've most times used Dr. Phillips and he's great to work with and has always had great service. Other vets are also great here as well. read more
