Sammy's jewelers is the BEST there is!!! He is truly talented and is an amazing craftsman when it comes to jewelry. He makes gorgeous jewelry and is also very trustworthy. I had him size my heirloom wedding ring which was from the 1940's and is a original one of a kind my father had custom made for my mother when they got married. She had such a small ring size and no one was ever able to resize it for me until I met Sammy. He did an awesome job!!! No one can tell where he sized it. Now it will be passed down to my daughter and then my granddaughter. So they can wear it too. I can't thank you enough Sammy!! I can now wear my mother's wedding ring and treasure my memories of her each and every day!! He will now be my go to jeweler for all my family and friends. He is the 3rd booth on the left when you walk in. read more

Extremely rude employees and owner. Walked up to three employees and they all stared at me and didn't say anything, I had to ask if they could help me. No manners or costumer service skills. read more

SAMMYS Jewelry is not trustworthy. We saw a necklace in case was given a price of $3,800, left $500 deposit. We went back next day they opened to get necklace with $3300 balance and he would not give to me. He claims he and his girl gave wrong price yet I have receipt for said item at $3,800. He's a crook to do business with!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I only deal with Ben at Behr jewelers. He has been my choice for the last 15 years at least. I have sent many friends to have jewelry redone or cash in or buy something new. He's the best man to deal with and very fair and honest. He is a great Designer and will take all jewelry and design and create beautiful pieces that you will love and cherish. He is the last booth on the right. Highly recommend Ben! read more

Talked on the phone with a woman who I think is named Susan. She was so rude and had a nasty attitude. She was also making fun of my accent and talking to me like I was saying nonsense. Then there was a brief moment when I heard a man ask her if she was still on the phone and she said "yes I'm still talking to this f***ing..." and then it got quiet. Very rude, racist, and unprofessional people here. I don't seem to be the first person to have a bad experience, so I would recommend not coming here. read more

I've been here twice in the past 24 hours to try and get my ears pierced. The first time, the man had left for the day 2 hours before close which didn't bother me. The next day, I get there at 10:15-15 minutes after they opened- and the piercer had stepped out to run errands. This is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. If you cannot commit to working the day, you should not come in at all. read more

Sammy's the best. Buy all my diamonds from him. Always goes above and beyond our expectations

My experience with John at keepsake Jewlery which is the first booth on the left was phenomenal from the beginning. His and his staff go above and beyond. I always go to him and his knowledgeable staff for all my personal Jewlery and gifts. Excellent prices with the most gorgeous Jewlery!! He's truly the best! This depends on which booth you go to. I always see Andy at I Love Lucy's. It's the first on the right. My mother and I have purchased so many pieces from here it's hard to keep track! Andy helped me design and build my wife's engagement ring. And if there's ever an issue with anything he fixes it right away. I've been to a few of the other sellers in there and I always feel pressured, which immediately makes me turn away. Go with an idea and they'll help you out at Lucy's. If they don't have it, they can get it read more

This place was the worst, I mean bottom of the swamp experience with any jeweler, ever. My fiancée and I had previously gone there, to Sammy's Jewelry counter, because her family has gotten rings/jewelry done there before. We went back to this counter and that's when it got troublesome. Strike one was any time we asked to see loose stones, what was ordered in the first few times was not even close to what we were looking for. This was the first time I've seen a jeweler not even be able to find one single stone that even remotely resembled what was asked. If others could do it within a week and not sweat over it, I imagine it's not rocket science for this place to try. Strike two was the dismissive and patronizing attitudes we received whenever we had questions about anything. If you ever go there, see if you can find a sign where it says No Questions Asked. If you do, please send me a message so I can know that maybe I'm crazy for daring to ask anything. And god forbid we had concerns that followed those questions. Especially when the stone my fiancée wanted to settle on turned out to be so obviously dull even in good light and had an inclusion smack dab in the eye of the stone. Strike three, and this one was the finishing blow for me, was that after leaving a cash deposit, only then did my fiancée come to realize we'd been given a price that was way above what comparable jewelers were listing for stones of the same color, clarity, and cut. I pulled the GIA report for our stone and the same for the comparable stones. I presented this to the owner of the counter who saw nothing of concern to him in what I showed him and instead of working with me or confronting the truth, simply threw my money back at me and told me to go elsewhere. Don't give this place your business or you will certainly regret it. read more

I was very pleased with the customer service here. I originally went in to buy a gift for my son for his confirmation. I started out looking at some gold crosses. The man was so kind and said that I should not invest in gold because it's too expensive right now and that I would get better value with silver. He redirected me to another booth where I found exactly what I wanted thanks to the gentleman at that counter. My son was thrilled and wears it all the time. It even came with a guarantee and I can get it cleaned any time I need. Great experience. read more

The first kiosk when you walk in was hands down the WORST experience of my life. It was as if the hispanic looking woman had zero common sense or didnt care about customer service. I dropped off a pair of cufflinks during Thanksgiving break and was told I would be called within a week or so after they were shipped to the city where the repair would be done and then they would know a price. I was hesitant but needed them fixed so I agreed. I NEVER received any phone call. When I followed up 1 week later, I was told via phone they didnt have an update. Complete bullshit. I stopped by before Christmas and was finally told after applying some pressure that the price was $20. When I asked where the hell my cufflinks were, I was told by the same incompetent woman that theyd be done after the new year and that she would call me when they were done. Second time she said she would call me. Fast forward to today, Jan 23rd NEARLY 2 MONTHS after the fact, I walked in and demanded to know where my stuff was. The same lady claimed that she spoke with me, which is complete bullshit. I did not have even 1 missed call from the place. Naturally, these morons gave me some bullshit story saying they had to replace both of the backings on the cufflinks. WELL 2 MONTHS LATER, I HAVE THE EXACT SAME SITUATION. ONE BROKEN CUFFLINK. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THE KIOSK RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE WHEN YOU WALK IN. COMPLETE LACK OF COMMUNICATION ON THEIR PART AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

I went to the Commack Jewerly Exchange and went straight back to DAVID'S MASTER CLOCK WORKS! I was quoted a price to fix my necklace and when he was done fixing it I gave him money which required for him to give me back my change. He lied to me about the price and wouldn't give me my change back. The woman working with him was so rude just like David. I am writing this review since I wouldn't want anyone else to be treated the way I was. They were so rude, deceitful and thieves! Watch out for this business! It was a terrible experience! If I was able to give this business 0 stars I would have! read more

Throughout all my years of dealing with anyone in the jewelry business, John at Keepsake was by far my best ever experience!! Straight up guy who knows his stuff. It is the best if you see Benny at Behr Jewelers! He is the second to last booth on the right. Our family has been dealing with him for over 30 years. Followed him from the old Smithtown location. Both my children got their engagement diamonds from him and I just replaced my diamond through him. He has made beautiful pieces for me when I couldn't find exactly what I wanted. He is so honest and really cares about his customers! read more

Worth a trip if you want to see a lot in one day without going anywhere, but buying her can be suspect of course. No website of value, no warranty, paper and pencil receipts, no assurances...but cheaper prices. A trade off. It is no Tiffany or high end retail, yet they have major items and you can find deals. Also have a glasses/sunglasses shop in the back with knowledgable sales guys, and an all silver place which is much cheaper. Friendly proprietors, but they want to make a deal and can be shady and aggressive at times. Part of the experience. Cash is king, tax is for chumps. read more

STAY AWAY! I got totally ripped off here at the stand right in front of the entrance. I ordered wedding bands and it was a disaster. First I was promised the rings in a week. The week went by and I never got a call about the status of my order. Finally I called to check that they were coming in on time and I was told, "No" and that it would be another week. When the rings did come in, one was the wrong size. The other was damaged. Both rings had the wrong finish, as well. We were told they would paint them to improve the patina. Oy! No thanks! So we demanded our deposit back and were refused this. So as I said, stay away! These people offer terrible service, have crappy merchandise and screw their customers. read more

Stay away from Sammy's booth!!!!!!!!!!!! These people are unbelievable ... We came in last week to look at sapphire bracelets. We found a couple that we liked, both of them between 2,000-3,400 dollars. We wanted to think about it. They told us to come back on Wednesday as they are closed Monday and Tuesday. We came in almost 1 hour prior to the time they close and we were greeted with dirty looks. The woman salesperson said to Sammy "They come in just as we are closing". We walked up to the booth and they knew why we were there. Sammy says, "we already put the bracelets in the back of the safe. Come back tomorrow".. This is BEFORE we handed them thousands of dollars.... I would not want to see what type of treatment we would have gotten if we bought the bracelet and had a customer service issue. read more

I was slightly dissapointed when I came here to get a jump ring soldered back on a bracelet after it had broke and the girl at the jewelry counter did not know what a "jump ring" or "bail" was. After about 15 minutes of waiting for help I finally spoke to some one who claimed they were a "jeweler" and that it would take them close to TWO WEEKS to solder a jump ring!!!! Needless to say I will not return. read more

i purchased an engagement ring online and brought it here to have a diamond set and the ring enlarged. they did a great job for a reasonable price the ring looks fantastic. now we will be going there for our wedding bands read more

SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE-The seller right in the front center as you enter the building is THE WORST!!! I love jewelry and have tons of it but against my better judgement I went there to purchase a 14k gold crucifix on a 14k gold chain for my young son (some of his friends had purchased their necklaces from here). This was a birthday gift to him from his grandmother. So far I've had to return here multiple times because their merchandise is made so poorly. The crucifix broke off at the bail and was returned to me with a dent in it and now the chain has broken too. But that's not even the worst part, it's the people behind the counter that truly makes this experience particularly annoying. The one lady blamed it on my son, saying that he must be a "rough" boy. All he does is wear the piece around his neck. If you wear necklaces you know what I mean, it just hangs there and if it's made with quality, it doesn't keep breaking. He keeps having to touch it to make sure it hasn't fallen off his neck. He would have lost it multiple times already if he didn't keep checking on it. The people are rude and seem annoyed at having to keep fixing their crappy merchandise. Go ELSEWHERE, you do NOT want to spend your hard earned money here!!! Would have given them ZERO stars if I could! read more

If I could leave less stars I would. David's jewelry in the back right was the worst experience I have ever seen or had in my life of dealing with retail. The woman Zoya is condescending, rude, and worst of all a liar. My 94 year old grandmother had work done on her earrings, they charged her twice the quoted price, not allowing her out of it. When the work ended up being shoddy, breaking apart we went again, only to have a complex system put on that she couldn't do with her dexterity. Finally after a consultation with another jeweler we were encouraged to go back to have them "make it right." More lying, and refusal to do the listed work was one thing, but then Zoya yelled at my mother for daring to tell her what another jeweler said and promised to make it right. Fast forward another week and I bring them again for a final answer. The result was changing stories, no quote to price despite having the information in front of us, and the kicker was her yelling at me, claiming I have "no idea what I'm talking about" and "you're too young to know anything." So let's recap. There's a 94 year old ripped off, a grown woman yelled at, and me, who apparently is too young to have a say(I'm not, although I appreciate my gray hairs being unnoticed). And the end result is wasted money and nothing fixed. I'd rather pay the next jeweler out of my own pocket than give them one more cent. Stay away if you value not being screwed. I already left a message for the management, let see if they can help. read more
