My dentist referred me to Dr. Lichstrahl's office. I called and made my appointment with ease. The day of my appointment I walked in and was greeted and given all the paperwork to sign. I was called to see the doctor. Dr. Lichstrahl's explained everything and he recommended I come back to take care of the root canal that was done in a couple of week. He gave me a script for antibiotics. I got a call a few days before to confirm. The day of, everything went smoothly. I have to say I hardly felt a thing. He has what my grandmother calls "Saint Hands." He did the anesthesia and I didn't feel a sting or anything. He explained what he was doing and asked how I was doing during the entire procedure. I paid $50 out of pocket for initial X-rays. I went in needing help with three specific items: recementing a crown that fell off intact, fixing a broken crown, and finishing an implant. The student who saw me quoted an absurd $700 per crown--exorbitant for a teaching facility where students are learning. She initially claimed they couldn't recement my existing crown. However, her supervisor (a very polite instructor) stepped in, inspected it, and confirmed that the crown was intact and could easily be recemented.
