You can always talk to the staff in the office if problems at work arise, or if you have to be out due to family stuff/being sick or need to continue your education. Everyone is kind, loving, and understanding. All they ask of you in return is do your job the best to your ability and always stay in communication with SarahJane, Gregory, of Evan when it pertains to your clients. When he finally moved to Abiding Joy, it was actually like a dream come true. The very friendly family atmosphere, excellent nursing care, great food, and bright and positive living conditions helped make my uncle's time at Abiding Joy some of the happiest days of his life. I was especially thankful that Karen could take my uncle to doctor appointments even when I was unable to join them. I cannot recommend them enough. Having a nurse on site 24 hours a day is a huge asset! They provide healthy, homemade meals 3X a day, opportunities to socialize with others on a daily basis, & are willing to transport as needed for errands, groceries/prescriptions, or church. Dave & Karen were in constant communication with us & always let us know any time one of our family members had a need or concern. We were always welcomed into their home & could visit anytime, day or night. We had such exceptional care with our first family member, that we moved a second family member into their care, & continue to recommend Abiding Joy to our friends, who have also become residents & had exceptional care as well.
