Lousy experience! The manager "max" refused to issue refund. Changed room 3 times I was so upset I didn't take pictures of the first two rooms. One with bugs dead and alive, broken a/c unit that had small opening to outside. Stains on carpet, head boards greasy and smudged with who knows what.

I travel for work, so consequently, I spend the majority of my evenings in a hotel room somewhere across the country. That being said, the Comfort Inn & Suites in Las Vegas New Mexico is one of the good ones! The Hussle of restoration and progress is alive during the daytime hours however the nights are peaceful. The front desk, Renee, along with the rest of the staff, was incredibly helpful and polite. Anything that I have asked for has been promptly delivered. (and I was there over a month.

My son and daughter in law stayed here last night. The first room had fresh blood on the floor and beer still in the fridge. The second room smelled strongly of urine. At that point they gave up and just went to sleep after a long day of traveling. When they contacted the manager this morning he was very unhelpful and kept calling them back to argue. He said it wasnt blood, it was hair dye. Regardless, with Covid going on, these rooms should be spotless. Offering $20 back and arguing is unacceptable!!

We like this hotel in Las Vegas; there is not a lot of selection in my old home town. We will definitely stay here again, because the rooms are pet friendly, good breakfast, convenience, and quiet, even being next to the freeway. But. . . the chair was clearly broken. No reason why the maids would not tell management to replace this chair. Also, getting into bed, there is a major injury hazard in a sharp steel bar sticking out from under the middle of the bed under the mattress foundation. I hit my ankles on it several times.

I was tired of driving so I stopped here to get some much needed rest. The fellow behind the desk who checked me in could use some happy pills. The room was ok nothing special but I slept soundly. I was up and on the road before the free breakfast so I can't speak to that. The exterior was clean and the grounds were maintained. I would stay there again when needed.

Bed sheets at the Comfort Inn Las Vegas, NM!

I will not stay here again. We arrived late and the room was freezing cold. The worst part was the fact that the thermostat on the heater was broken. Then to top it all off when we pulled the cover back to get in bed at 11:30 at night we found that the sheets were wrinkled like someone had slept there and the sheets had not been changed. See the attached photo.

    Proof we were discriminated against!

My husband and I asked if we could stay in the RV lot which was totally empty and we have done before several times, the rude woman looked at me and said we only allow truckers to stay there. I asked if I could pay a fee to stay and she stumbled across her words and shrugged her shoulders. I said if you can allow truckers why can't I stay too???? She became angry like she was on drugs and said I couldn't stay there, I wonder if she was racist?? I told her I would let everyone know how rude and rediculous she was being on a Yelp and on a Google review. This place had three RVs parked on the car hotel lot but she decided I could not stay. She can't pick and chose nor make up what rules suits her. She is unprofessional and rediculous. Do not stay at this horrible hotel with this nasty hotel clerk.

Blood or some substance on chair.

Got a reservation for two rooms and paid in advance around noon. After driving for 7 or so hours arrived to be told our rooms were gone and all that was left were pet friendly rooms (we did not bring a pet). We run to the store to get some Benadryl and go for it. Get into the room to find a wet spot at foot of bed, some sort of fungus growing on our blinds and a smudge on a chair that look an awful like blood. Complained to a nice man at front desk but honestly they have a customer service policy of "no way in hell are you getting a refund, discount, or a free room in the future." I think they bank on one and done guests. If you are foolish enough to stay here they don't really care if you ever come back. I mean we paid $159 per room to get bumped to a place were people can bring their dogs or cats into without a bat of an eye from them. I gave it a two because the beds were comfortable. I did bring up all the gross things in the room and the man was nice enough to "make a note."

While we were charging our Tesla, the owner came out to invite us in for coffee and fruit, stretch our legs and enjoy the lobby and facilities.

Pablo took the Woody Harrelson role and I took Javier Bardem. Sadly we had no hat or shotgun but we did a pretty good job. There are no lobby signs indicating that the next floors promise lots of fun information on filming in the area, local outlaws and which stars over the years have stayed in which rooms. I spent a good 30 minutes soaking it in. It is a musty maze across two floors, with books and trinkets. I loved it. The ground floor of the hotel is a charisma bypass. What a pity as the cafe and lobby could be so much more fun and informative (this is true of Las Vegas generally, so many wasted opportunities). There is a gift shop with the usual pottery etc. Staff were fairly oblivious to visitors. We opted not to stay overnight. I peeked in many of the rooms and they looked like they had retained their 19C furniture in keeping with the time period. Some were large some were not.

The restaurant and cafe had recently closed and that had probably changed the general feeling as you walk in. There is no longer a reading room, which is a lovely aspect of both the La Posada and the Castañeda. In terms of our room, do not get a "non-plaza view" room! Your view is literally a wall about 8-10' away and side views directly into other rooms. (I wasn't offered anything other than this type when I called, so you might have to ask). Only one window means the room is quite dark. One thin coverlet on the bed, no extra blankets and the bedside lamp was connected to the bright overhead room light. Our toilet ran continuously and the housekeeping wasn't very good at all. The staff at the front desk desk was very nice - actually we stopped at the Castañeda and their staff was nice as well. Parking was easy, right in front of the hotel. The architecture throughout the town is amazing and you can see why so many films/series have been shot here. My recommendation is the Castañeda - the rooms look on par with La Posada, they have a lovely lounge and there's a super cute place to eat across the street.

I wanted to be professional and courteous by informing the front desk, that due to a covid positive test, I have cancelled my reservation. If this is how The Alexis teats their potential clients, I will not be returning nor will I refer this to any of my associates. This is not going to look good on Yelp and other social media forums. In addition, now that I look back on everything, nowhere does it state "No Refunds". Yet, there are no refunds. Now I get a voice mail that if I do not show up for the orientation, I will be charged an additional $300. This is a SCAM. Beware....... Retraction....... I must apologize, I have discovered that it was the third party that I booked the reservation with, that is giving me the runaround and the "BS". The people at Alexis Park Resort have returned my call and have been very helpful and understanding. Special thanks to Ms. Rojas. She has been wonderful. I give the Resort, itself 5 Stars. just beware of the third party. This is the problem. Book directly!
