We were greeted by a very friendly clerk who welcomed us and gave us our Honors treats. Our room was clean and had all the amenities necessary except a micro wave. It had a small fridge which was nice, but a micro wave would have been handy to have. It is a very quiet location. Breakfast in the morning was fair. The hot offering was eggs, potatoes and sausage. The eggs were tasteless and waterery. They were sitting in water. The potatoes were also tasteless. The sausage was the only thing that was actually edible. We were also disappointed that they did not offer the Fresh Baked Cookies that most Hamptons do. We will return to the other Hampton location on our next trip through.

The elevator goes down to the garage. You also need your room key to use the elevator. Guest laundry and a fitness center are on the 1st floor. The laundry room was pretty clean, includes a table for folding clothed, one seat if you plan to stay and requires your room key to enter. Machines take quarters: $3.25 total for a light wash & dry. The lobby includes a Cafe where you can purchase breakfast, as well as several comfortable seats, a TV and business center. The pool is out the door by the elevator as well as a gas fire pit and outdoor seating. The pool has a handicap lift seat. We had a reservation and check-in was quick and easy. There is *no* housekeeping available, at all, unless your stay is more than 4 nights long. After that, you can request room service to change the sheets, vacuum, replenish amenities and so on for the next four nights. Leave trash and/or dirty towels in the hall for house keeping to collect if needed. Also, a trash can is located by the ice machine, right near the elevators, if that suits you better. The room includes a small microwave, a mini-fridge (tiny), ice bucket and four plastic cups, single cup coffee maker, coffee, two cups with lids and paper sleeves. We asked for more coffee and face towels to last our stay and they were delivered to our room. More than enough to meet our needs. The room is very clean and spacious with King bed, sofa, ottoman, side table, desk area, a couple small drawers for clothes and space for your suitcase. Closet has real hangers, iron & board. Window treatments include sheers and light blocking drapes. An extra blanket is in a cabinet near the fridge, which we did not need. Even at 34° out doors the heat kept the room quite toasty. For those who are noise sensitive, it is a noisy system, but did not bother us, although the TV volume did have to go up when it was on. The thermostat is on the wall near the drawers. There are plenty of good lighting options throughout the room. Bathroom was 3/4 (shower, no tub) with a glass panel divider, no shower curtain and no shower door: very much as you find in European hotels. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are multi-use containers attached to the shower wall. One bar of soap for the sink and two rolls of TP round out the bathroom amenities. By the way, the TP has a very low tensile strength (it rips easily). All towels were in good condition, soft and plenty big bath towels. There is a shelf cut-out where your shower mat is stored. There is a metal basket, and shelf for personal care items and a wash cloth bar and low shelf for ladies to rest their foot when shaving, in the shower. Good water pressure in the shower and the faucet to start the shower is opposite the shower head so you stay dry while adjusting to the correct water temp.There is one hook on the wall, behind the bathroom door when open, that we used to hang atoiletry kit. A second hook would be welcome. A large shelf is under the sink. Two towel bars are available to hang your wet bath towel for re-use. No view to speak of from your room here. There are 3 or 4 other hotels very close and the way GPS brought us, we followed the signs to La Quinta to find the hotel. There are plenty of stores and restaurants on the main road nearby and it's a 30-45 minute drive into Atlanta. Every staff member we met was courteous, helpful and friendly and we enjoyed meeting and chatting with many of them. Based on our experience, we definitely would stay here again.

As soon as I walked in, there was a bag with trash in it sitting on the desk in the room. The toilet was dirty and needed the bowel scrubbed and the trash can was full of trash and not emptied. I promptly went to the front desk and the attendant acted like he couldn't even care less. He did give me the key to another room and these are the pictures I took from the second room. The bed wasn't made and had unidentified spots on it, the room phone and remote were disgusting, there was a used diaper from a previous guest in the trashcan, the tv was dirty and had something stuck to it, the AC unit was cracked and severely aged, bathroom countertop was filthy, the door didn't fit in the door frame to seal the room from the hallway, and there was exposed wiring in the room. Not sure what the problem was with this hotel, but I won't be back.
