Such a cute and welcoming spot to dine it. You can feel the closeness of the patrons and staff. The farm to table options are very appetizing. Landing in Memphis just an hour prior, this was my first real impression of Tennessee. I was a nervous but excited because I had never traveled to this part of the United States before. They were closing at 2pm and I had just made it by 30 minutes. I order their smoked gouda and pimento cheese sandwich. They have a very simple menu. Soup, salad or sandwich. I was hoping for a side of fries, but no luck. The sandwich was delicious, very flavorful! There was a lot of pimento cheese and at some bites it was a little too much. Other than that, I finished my sandwich. The service was great. The men working were really friendly and I got my order quick. The restaurant reminded me of a little mom and pops that I would visit in Long Beach or something. Definitely a good start to my trip! read more

Had a wonderful mushroom soup, with a little bite to it and a spinach salad with cashews and a yummy dressing the other day. Perfect amount, so fresh tasting and nicely presented. Love this place. read more

What an amazing place to come across. A community focused cafe with a daily changing menu. Food costs what you can afford or if you have means you can pay more as a donation. This is the most wonderful restaurant in town. The food is delicious, and the cafe is also a blessing to the community. Their motto is love, feed, dignify. This means that everyone eats whether they have the means to pay or not. People pay as they can. Others give donations and those who don't have the means to pay donate their time. The restaurant operates with the help of volunteers and local farm partners. The menu changes daily and offers the choice of several soups, salads and entrees. We had a delicious sandwich and a farm fresh salad along with tea and a scrumptious fresh raspberry cake. read more

Great options whether you're vegetarian or not. I love the music they play here (Americana like Jason Isbell, Sturgill Simpson) and the vibes here. I like that they use local food or grow their own. You can really tell when you get a salad there in the Summer that the tomatoes were sun ripened! Good value and a worthy cause! read more

A bit of a hipster type joint but excellent food. I had turkey, bacon avocado panini with a salad and cup of sausage soup. My wife had pimento cheese sandwich and salad. Suggested price was $16 for both, apparently you can work there an hour and get a meal. read more

Love that their menu is different everyday! Great flavorful and exciting food choices, things you would never think up yourself. Also love that they served breakfast at the farmers market on Saturdays last year (haven't been yet this year to see if they're back). I have yet to get something I didn't like here.
