Very clean and well lit environment 6 Great variety of products and spices. I cook Haitian, Spanish, French, Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Cuban/Dominican, Jewish, Jamaican and Trinidadian dishes. I was raised in the US and learned to cook my favorite dishes from my friends. I find everything I need including a nice wok the refried beans for Mexican dishes, etc. My last review was an error I did not realize then that this market was not even aware that tainted water bottles had been placed there. Unfortunately, I bought 5 one liter bottles of different brands. Well deserved kudos to you!!! My heartfelt apologies, PS I am now in Rennes. I recently shopped at an excellent Carrefour market. Then when wandering around the neighborhood, I stumbled across this moderately sized Chinese supermarket, which says simply Supermercado Productos Oriental over the door. Concise and to the point - I like it! They have a few specialty fresh goods (sprouts, plus some things I cannot name!), but not much fruit and veg generally. The freezer section is pretty extensive, containing all sorts of weird and wonderful things. But it's the selection of dry goods that's fabulous about this store... they have all of those hard to find Asian ingredients and the prices are ridiculously cheap. So far I've found vinegars and soy sauces from Japan, Thailand, China and the Philippines, as well as Thai curry pastes, rice wines, palm sugar, sweet chili sauces and tamarind; and this is only a fraction of what they have! So if you're keen in the kitchen, I highly recommend a visit!
