Most of the questions seem common sense to me. IF you end up needing to verify an answer, hit control+F in the Word document and type in key words to find the content with the answer you're looking for. SECTIONS: Five sections. Final exam was easy, but I did look up answers if I wasn't sure and ended up getting a 92%. Pass! PRICE: Use code FUNNY to get a discount. The checkout page is vague because you have to enter the coupon code and HIT APPLY. However, after you hit apply it does not show another total amount confirmation page of what you were charged. It's legit. It's affordable. It's "entertaining". It's the only driving school with Erik Estrada! Are the videos corny? Yes! Is Erik Estrada was beyond his prime and having difficulty reading his teleprompter? Oh god yes. But if you want to avoid reporting those traffic tickets to your insurance, this traffic school will do the trick. Registering is a *touch* weird, and after every section you have to wait an unusual amount of time for them to "grade" your quiz, but overall, everything works the way it should. It's efficient and quick. If you know your driving school basics, this will not be difficult in the least and you can breeze thru. The "comedy" here is a stretch, but compared to most driving schools (and other online programs), it's for sure the most entertaining. I feel like the video's were way too long, boring, not funny at all, and redundant with the information. However, I did learn a few things. Also, they start off with a price, then give you a discount, then once you choose if you want to read, listen or watch a video they charge you and extra $10 for that and then at the very end when you pay, they try to charge you and extra $10 for a certificate, $10 for email confirmation(which they give anyway), and $10 for something else. Overall, I just did it because I wanted to watch it by video, but I think you could go with a better company. read more

After living in LA for nearly 30 years, I got my first traffic ticket about a month ago. Hurray! I've never had to look into traffic school before and thought an online course would be more efficient than sitting in a classroom all day. I also wanted a class with a comedic edge and this was the first one that popped up on yelp. All of the tips from previous reviews were so helpful! Thank you fellow Yelpers! I didn't click on any of the videos (didn't want to get stuck with an extra charge) so I just read the text from start to finish. There are five sections each with a short quiz at the end. I liked how each section had a "case study" to read to help you with the quiz. The case study was written to be silly and humorous, but emphasizes major points every driver should know. In reading previous reviews, some people said it took them an hour or two to do the whole course. I took my time (about 5-6 hours) because I thought it was a great opportunity to learn some new things and review older ones. It's easy to forget that an automobile is like a dangerous weapon and must be handled responsibly. Luckily my traffic ticket was for a minor offense, but I shudder at the idea that a fatal accident can happen to anyone at anytime. Taking this course was a sober reminder of that reality and I have to say, I am a much safer driver than I was a month ago. The only difficulty I encountered was that if I took a break from the course only to come back to it later on a different device, I had to start from the very first chapter and scroll through to the chapter I left off on! Luckily my quiz results were all saved and recorded but I wish you could just easily resume where you left off after logging onto a different device or computer! The other minor complaint is that parts of the text are repetitive, but I suppose the info gets seared in your brain that way! The basic course was 19.95 with discount code FUNNY. I added an option (9 dollars) of having the school verify with me that my course completion was registered with the LA superior court... for peace of mind. Tip...when you are setting up your payment, make sure you click on "no" for each add-on you don't want to purchase. If you don't, the default option is "yes" and you will be charged accordingly. This course met my needs quite well--it was easy to read, informative, and there were some shots of humor thrown in there. She ended up skipping the videos and did the course in less that an hour. Payed for the bundle (total about 49 dollar with discount) and didnt get the options for the comedy club tickets, which was the main reason she did the course. Easy to get my certificate and take the online class. Very simple with a cute twist of some funny and creative content to make this task less arduous. They promised free comedy tickets, but the only locations were in Los Angeles, so we didn't go. Also, when I explored that part of the site, it seemed as though there were upcharges for decent days and times. I chose the less expensive class that was written text on the web page, instead of video. They said that would be $19.99. I passed the 5 levels and I believe the page said it will send my results to the DMV. This was just yesterday, so I still have hope that that will happen. But i am giving this a 2 star because the reading was excessively filled with fluff that felt like it was made to make me want to switch to the more expensive video. But the quizzes and final test were not hard. I just read the parts that looked important and skimmed when it started seeming like filler. Also, after i finished and the page said continue for some final reason it took me to a page that tried to get me to pay for hard copies to be sent and other "extras". I said no to all and then the final cost was $34, which was the cost for video. But I believe I already paid the $19.99 ... i mean I was charged it already. So I didn't do that because anyway it seemed like it was starting a new class... Anyway- all very confusing and felt like they just wanted to get more money out of me than they originally promised. read more

Quiz questions are very easy to answer (multiple choice answers). Final quiz consists of 20-25 questions. Still fairly easy & common sense questions. This is my second time taking this course. Overall its GREAT! I really waited till the LAST minute to take this test as I was dreading it every step of the way. My first time I took it was in 2011 for a red light ticket. During that time this course was VERY cheap...I'm talking about $9.95 type of cheap so I was just in my price range and very convenient. This time around I had a damn ticket from Kern County going 85 MPH and got a speeding ticket. I wanted to get the driving school over and done with so I went back through my old emails and found this website I was excited and ready to get it over and done with. Registration process is easy: You sign up as they ask you for your name, birthday, Driver license number, citation number and phone number. During the test: You go through these 5 long sections of readings. (Don't get the audio it's a waste of money...Just read everything and you will do just fine) You take a quiz after each section. Then after the 5 sections you take a 25 question test. You have to get 18 of the 25 correct or in other words 70% in order to be able to pass and then you pay. Easy and simple....Right! At the end they try to get you and add all these unnecessary things on there like: ~Will send a hard copy to you for your records $9.00. Umm hello can we just be paperless people and send it to my email? ~Will send your information to the courts for you so you don't have to call them. Another $9.00...Okay so I admit I DID pay for this! But only because I hate Kern County and don't want to deal with them! My blood pressure goes up just dialing their number! UGH! Yes Comedy Traffic School please take care of this for me! I forgot to put in my Coupon Code for the $10 off and the damn website charged me $57.90 on my card. Oh na na na I need that $10 boo every penny counts especially after being charge over $450 for a speeding ticket. So what did I do bright and early the next day at 8AM? This traffic school in the read only version is pretty fast and easy. BUT Their website doesn't have straightforward ways to pay and finish the process. They have a glitch when you have a Groupon and if you don't declare Groupon at the beginning, you can't apply the code at the end. If you need to add things on beyond what the Groupon includes, the website doesn't accept the checkout/payment option..... so..... Contacting them is impossible! You can write them a message on their website contact link, but they will send you a reply one or two days later telling you to call them. Calling them, you only get a voice recording and have leave a message. So far, they have not called me back in about 24 hours since I left a message yesterday. Now today, it went to voicemail again. I can't send proof of completion to DMV until these people finally acknowledge me directly so I can pay them extra money beyond what the Groupon covered read more

When I got a speeding ticket, I was at least happy to see that this DMV approved online traffic school had a Groupon deal. For $7, I figured the 8 hours of my life I would kiss goodbye would at least cost less than anticipated. Then I took the course, and was even happier to see that it didn't take me 8 hours to get through it. Call me a fast reader, or a great test taker, or whatever. The site requires you to scroll through the reading material (you can upgrade to audio or video for extra) until it gives you a button to access the quiz that allows you to complete that section. You have to score 100% on each quiz in order to get to the next section. There were 5 sections, and you can always save your place & come back to it. At the end, it gives you 60 minutes to complete the final exam, 20something questions. In order to pass the class, you have to get a 70% score or better. You can retake it only once within a week, and if you fail a second time you have to retake the course from them or another place. The quizzes were super easy. The final was a bit harder, but they give you all the links to the handbook to look up answers, because it's open book. Honestly, if you can't Google your way to 70%'s worth of correct answers within an hour, your problems are way bigger than just a traffic ticket. Even with my Groupon, I had to pay extra for them to send a DMV certificate on my behalf ($10 for 3-5 biz days, $15 for electronic submission). But that's standard for any traffic school. Yes, I've done this before : /. They ease your pain by also mailing you 2 tickets to a comedy show at one of a few clubs you can choose from, so that was a nice little perk. I always hope that each traffic school that I have to complete will be my last. But just in case it's not, I'll happily choose this one again. Even without the Groupon! read more

The pricing is a scam, and bait-and-switch. They advertise $10.00 on their front page, but once you complete the course (it takes roughly an hour), the bill is for $35. You can unselect all the options, but the baseline charge is still $20.00 That's more than double they advertised the course for. You don't get a copy for yourself if you choose the baseline option, although they claim it gets sent to your courthouse electronically. I don't deal with scams. read more
