Friday Night party of 2 Headliner: Sid Davis Hubby and I are on vacation in Myrtle Beach and decided to take in some comedy on a Friday night. I purchased tickets online and we showed up at 6:30 for a 7:30pm show. We were welcomed when we walked in the door, checked in without having to share the online confirmation number, and invited to wait for the doors to open at 7:00pm, in the bar. I ordered a gin and tonic and hubby a lava flow. Our friendly waitress also took our food order. There is a 2 item minimum so we ordered a pizza and then I had another drink. The pizza was hot and pretty yummy. The waitress closed our tab and invited us to move to the showroom promptly at 7:00. The three comedians leading up to the headliner were all pretty entertaining. We enjoyed our evening. 4/5 stars because it was annoying that the waiter kept walking in front of us throughout the entire show. The comedians were available at the door upon departure for photos.

It was ok, but expensive! It was also lewd for the main act. We do not recommend children or young adults, go. Also they make each person in your group, place two orders for food/drinks. And those are not inexpensive, either... We had dinner and drinks before, not knowing the RULES. The first opening comedian, a regular', was putting down Trump... So that did not go well for many customers! Plus he could not get the fact that the crowd was NOT pleased with his jokes. The other comedians were better. Liked Doc, and the Australian-main comedian, was pretty good...

Greg warren, he was on last comic standing!

A hidden gem in Myrtle beach that I will now visit anytime I am back in the area! I laughed so hard I was crying while watching Greg Warren here. He was a comic on last comic standing. If you don't know who he is look him up! He's got more wholesome material for all ages. They had 4 comics that night two local and two that are traveling comics. Comedy cabana seems to do a good job booking performers. Just to be safe because they rotate comics each week it's best to not try to bring your kids because the comedy may not always be family friendly. This runs everyday of the week so you can come on a Tuesday and it will still be pretty full! While watching the show there is waitstaff that comes by your table so you can order food and drinks. Also FYI there is 2 drink minimum. Highly recommend stopping by!

2022 and another great time at the cabana. Why this place isn't slam pack full is beyond me. It has become mandatory for us to go each year. This year our headliner was Mr. Showtime. What a crazy show! He went "off script" and super interactive, it was great! Why there are empty seats is beyond me. It's sad actually. Only positive to that is our seats are always good. I can't stress enough how enjoyable the acts are here. If you are super sensitive or can't handle laughing at yourself or others out loud then ignore this place. If you CAN handle laughing at reality, the good, bad and ugly then book a show, you will enjoy it, and in this day and age, you prob need it!

Fun night! Seating was quick and show started promptly. Enjoyed all the comedy acts " you can get baptized at chick fil a for $7.99" and the food was surprisingly good! I got the mushroom cheeseburger and chocolate cake. My cousins got the fresh mozzarella appetizer and loaded nachos. Great experience will be coming again soon!

I visited this establishment while on a get away from it all / girls weekend! The tickets, food & drink menu were reasonably priced. Everyone that we encountered were super nice and friendly! The dress is relaxed casual. They do have a parking lot specifically for their guests and it was a little tight, but we found a park without any issues. As we stood in line to come inside it was very chaotic. It appeared to be 3 lines and eventually we got to where we needed to be and were seated. We had great seats right in front of the stage so I really enjoyed that!! It is truly a great place to visit when you're in the area. We will be back!!

Our Uber drivers (multiple) suggested visiting the Comedy Cabana during our stay. When I went to check tickets for the 7pm show, they were already sold out - days before. So we opted for 9pm. I've been to other big named comedy shows on the East Coast and have never laughed so much. They do have a two drink minimum - which is easily feasible. Why would you not have a beverage while enjoying the show? All of the acts from opening to end were funny - which I would say is rare? Either way, I'd recommend having dinner somewhere near the Cabana and heading over in time for your show. Don't worry about standing in line for doors to open - the seats are already reserved for you. They'll ask for your name and have an usher/server walk you to your table. Great place! The decor is a bit outdated but who cares! Oh and the playlist DJ really knew how to play songs that had people get excited for the show! Enjoy!

Four stars for the comedy show-- the comedians were great. The food was nothing to write home about. Priced reasonably.

The feast begins with a biscuit so warm and buttery it could only be baked by the Paula Deen of southern pirates. The main course includes tender "seagull". (Locals say it tastes suspiciously like chicken... but who be I to question a pirate?) As for the show? No expense was spared. From the impressive stage mechanics and décor to the costumes and cast, this was a top-tier production, me hearties. I came during the holidays and was treated to a pirate-themed twist on A Christmas Carol -- who knew? So if ye be feenin' for a hearty meal, a swashbucklin' good show, and a chance to channel yer inner scallywag, grab a seat, loosen yer belt, and raise your goblets.

Myrtle Beach none of the actors sing the songs like the other locations just lip sing . The acting and acrobatics are great just the lip singing takes away so much from the show . We always pay for the vip and the other locations open the doors and seat the vip's first and then the next groups as follow . This one they opened the doors and just let everyone flood in and nobody helps you find your seating . There were multiple other VIP groups who paid for the VIP that also did not get their meet and greet . We were all told to go up stairs to a section and wait for the meet and greet , all groups waiting never got their meet and greet . We all waited until doors opened and we were told to go find our seats . Complete disaster for seating and complete disappointment not getting the meet and greet we paid for , 4 tickets for VIP are not cheat . The photos at this location were shot on cellphones and they still charge you thru the roof absurd pricing for them . The one picture was $36 (I believe )for the cell phone photo . The server we had Shaq (yes like the basketball player's name ) was an amazing server , very attentive , polite , joked , played the part and an all around awesome guy . Food was consistent like the other locations . This location was definitely better at cleaning up plates and such that both the other locations . The pre show was pretty good at Myrtle . It was challenging to agree upon a show as two of our guests were international visitors, and were less familiar with the English-language lyrics of popular American songs. We decided upon the ICONIC show, because it was described as a family-friendly musical variety show. My husband and I twisted arms a bit as we were familiar with the theatre having visited there years ago to see a different show ("One"). The ICONIC show was high energy, featuring a cast of highly talented musicians, dancers, a comedian, and even aerialists. The show featured country hits, classic rock anthems, Broadway favorites, and pop ballads, all professionally choreographed and with frequent costume changes. Stunt comedian Max Winfrey, who was featured on America's Got Talent, provided comedic relief between sets. The show was about two hours of non-stop entertainment. All four of us, even our international guests, enjoyed it. The Alabama Theatre, founded in 1993, was clean and comfortable, with excellent acoustics. The temperature in the venue was comfortable in late September. We were in orchestra seats (section B, row 5), but there wasn't a bad seat in the house. The theatre is in Barefoot Landing, where patrons could avail themselves to pre-show dinners or shopping. Parking is free and plentiful. Our orchestra tickets were $54.95 each, including taxes and fees. They do not offer senior, military, AAA or AARP discounts. (We did see a brochure that advertised a summer special wherein 2 kids aged 16 and under are allowed per paid adult). No refunds or exchanges are allowed. Our rating for the experience is 4.5, rounded up to 5.0. A few minor things prevented a true 5.0 rating. (1) Upon entering, we were unknowingly directed to table where the gentleman tried to sign us up for a timeshare presentation at Wyndham Resorts; and (2) some of the actors seemed uncomfortable in the costumes and were seemingly "just going through the motions" in some of the later musical selections, especially the Under the Sea/Ariel and Aladdin ones. We would visit the Alabama Theatre again when next in the N. Myrtle Beach area.
