Easy to obtain an account and modem. Provides automated billing and payment processing on an expensive plan that delivers slow internet speeds. Provides an automatic help system that efficiently blocks access to technical support and chronically reboots your system. What could be better? FYI - "Mehgan" from technical support (phone) is an excellent resource. She is very customer oriented and solution driven. Better testing methods are warranted, though. Do not get sucked into Comcast, unless you want poor unreliable service. Your bill will increase every two months. My wife went down to adjust our service. They gave us a new internet box and immediately disabled our old box. Now we have no phone, TV or internet. Cannot get any help from Comcast. They are customer unfriendly and loathe to help, they seem to be vindictive. Worst internet provider out there. Look elsewhere for internet service. You've been warned! read more

No phone at the location for local callers, all numbers redirect to the national 1-800 customer service line, and you get a rep in Mexico, Brazil, India, etc. who will refuse to listen to what you tell them as they circle their script repeatedly. If you walk into the local office, the representatives in person are argumentative, combative, and want to play technical semantics games while ignoring the overall issues and points. They outright lie about what shows in the system and why (they blame the customer for any and all problems or discrepancies). In this town, there's very little option for cable TV and internet, but hopefully Spectrum is up and running here soon. They've begun to expand here and might at least offer better customer service. read more

Terrible customer service. It took them 2 weeks to figure out how to turn my internet on. They always send the bill to the wrong address causing me to call them every month to let them know my correct address. It doesn't seem they know how to properly work they're system. I get a late fee every month from their mistakes. And this is the only internet company that services my area. I'm forced to use them. read more

Comcast provides the phone service for my company, a business with about 45 employees. We have a dozen lines and the phones are the lifeblood of my business. Comcast began dropping calls, several a day, and we were never notified that it was happening. Instead, they cancelled the emergency line we had set up to alert us that something might be wrong. So rather than fix the problem they tried to eliminate the alarm. The ineptitude of the agents involved is laughable, as they took turns contradicting each other time and again in an effort to minimize the problem rather than attack it. I'm six weeks into the issue, still with no resolution in sight. From top to bottom this company is an inept, pass-the-buck, addled nightmare of confusion. The first several people I spoke with didn't even realize Comcast offered the products we were using. I'm still so snake bit by the experience that I don't even know what else to say except please, if you value your business, look elsewhere for all your services. read more
