The boat left from Dock 4 and they take your ticket before you descend. The river was calm so not difficult to board with the minor rocking. Bathrooms and food/drinks were sold inside on the main deck. The boat was a double decker and I took a seat on the top for the entire cruise. It was perfect weather to be outside and see everything. The tour was conducted via a recording that alternated between Spanish and English. Very interesting facts and highlights throughout. We sailed on three rivers (Sarmiento, Lujan and Espera) and two creeks. We passed by shipwrecks, homes in various conditions (a number of them for sale), a school and church, rowing clubs, and more. The glass enclosed home of former President Sarmiento was a unique site to see. It was a museum that could be visited if you took one of the river taxis? While passing through one of the shallowest creek on the tour, we were chased by some locals who were yelling at the staff until the boat slowed down and stopped their announcements. Not sure what was the issue but the tour resumed a few minutes later. We returned to the same dock and smoothly berthed. Overall a decent tour though it seemed a bit expensive for 19000 ARS.

The audio guide was in three languages, Spanish, English and Portuguese. So relaxing to take a cruise on the Lujan River, the Sarmiento River, the Tres Bocas area, the San Antonio River and Canal Vinculation. Notice the upscale homes and water parks next to shipwrecks and dilapidated homes. Fun to see ReMax signs selling properties along the water. According to the audio tour, homes range from $30,000 to $120,000. So many boats on a Saturday afternoon. Fun to watch people kayaking and sailing in the calm waters. As we approached Buenos Aires, we entered the Río de la Plata through the Costanero Canal. Nice to able to see spires of cathedrals, the Puerto de Olivos, River Plate Court, and Jorge Newbery Airport as we neared Puerto Madero with a stunning view of the city of Buenos Aires. We even saw our cruise ship docked prior to its next voyage. The ride takes about two hours. Snacks and drinks are available, but you can also bring your own onboard. Our guide, Patrice from Argentina Elite Transfer and Tours, dropped us off in Tigre and picked us up at Puerto Madero a few hours later at the end of the cruise. Since we are not Argentinian we didn't know what to put there and left the reserving job to our tour guide who is taking us on a half day walking tour tomorrow since he offered to do it for us. Other than that the service was seamless. After you walk through immigration and customs you have to walk through a taxi area where all of the different companies are selling their services. On the left-hand side is the counter for this company. Tell them you have a reservation they pull it up and then you pay. They then point to your driver and you wave and then you walk out of that area kiosk and they take you to the car which is about a block and a half away. The airport is under construction so it's a little jampacked and hard to get out of the baggage claim/customs area when all of the international flights arrive. Also the ride into the city itself can take a very long time. There was a lot of traffic at 8 AM on a Thursday morning. Took about over 45 minutes they claim and was closer to an hour.
