Located on the main floor of the office building across from The Galleria, it offers a mixed decor of table and chairs, yet inviting and comfortable. Open floor plan so you can see everyone in there. Bar seats comes equipped with a plug under the counter for your laptop or phone. Coffee and Adult Beverage options along with a kitchen for meals. Very appealing for college students and entrepreneurs. I started off with the Maple Bourbon Latte, but upon finding out there wasn't any Bourbon in it, I had it added. Enjoyed the beverage, but didn't really get the maple flavor and it needed a tad more sweetness to counter the bitter. Definitely got the Bourbon! Breakfast meal, went with Breakfast Sandwich, add extra bacon because why not, Egg fried hard and Side of Breakfast Potatoes. Sandwich was huge! 2 eggs and appeared to be 5 pieces of bacon. Desperately needed seasoning and the bacon could have stayed on the grill another minute or so. Potatoes on point! Very tasty and the size of the order was comparable to the cost. This has become my study spot of choice. It's large with plentiful seating and a comfortable upstairs area. There are a decent amount of outlets as well! Could be better, but I can't complain. I'll be honest though, I am not satisfied unless there's an outlet next to every table which is totally not realistic, lol. Wifi is fast. The food there is pretty delicious. I've had their baked goods before and recently got the chili. It was really, really delicious and had a slight kick to it. I got the Kenya pour over and was not too impressed. It tasted a little more roasted than I'm used to with a Kenya. Usually Kenyas are super bright but I was not getting that. However, I still enjoyed it. I also got a turmeric latte almond milk. I needed something caffeine free and this was a great drink but maybe not for everyone! I enjoyed it though. It had turmeric, cardamom, cinnamon, and ginger in it. Staff is friendly. Only cons are the bathrooms, parking, and the crowd. The bathrooms are pretty gross and not well cleaned and the seats on the toilets wobble around REALLY badly. This is such an easy fix too... And the place seems to constantly be busy. Sometimes it's hard to find a place to sit despite the ample amount of seating and the line can get long, but they're pretty quick at getting people through. Also, the parking can be kind of annoying. There's actually tons of spots and a garage but because it's a busy area in an office building, the good spots are taken fast. I also hate parking in garages because I always seems to get lost trying to find my car so maybe it's a personal problem lol. read more

Coffee shop that is inside of an industrial building, which was kind of weird and made it harder to find. High quality coffees from around the world. This might be the spot for a coffee aficionado, but it was not the spot for me. Since I am not super into coffee itself I usually like coffee shops that have pleasant atmospheres, lots of outlets, good seating options, and solid food, but this place had none of the above. The nicest seats are by far the ones looking out the window. I ordered a specialty matcha and tonic drink, a coffee, and a breakfast sandwich. The matcha and tonic drink both looked and tasted awesome, and the coffee was solid, however the breakfast sandwich was abysmal. They gave me the sandwich in a to-go box even though I told them I was going to be eating there, and some of the ingredients were still cold!! Do not recommend. Some of the pastries they have on display looked tasty however (especially the donuts), however I don't think I will be making it back to try them. read more

I stopped by in person to use the experience booklet- a free drink with purchase of food. I called before coming because I saw I couldn't use the experience booklet for online orders. The man over the phone told me to order online or come in. I decided to come in, thinking they were carry out now.... not thinking people would be dining in. Upon getting there parking was a little tricky. I think they should have a few spots labeled for the shop or a clear direction as to where you should park. I walked to the outdoor entrance but because it still had the name of another restaurant on it I walked around and into the sliding door. It worries me when people don't have a clear set up right now... I just wanted to know I was coming and going where I should. Upon getting in I saw they were open for dine in. I was very uncomfortable. I placed my order for a salted caramel cold brew and a bowl of broccoli cheddar(I thought soup would be quick considering the indoor dining I didn't know about). The man who took my order was very nice and I think made the great cold brew that was served to me in five minutes. The salted caramel cold brew was great! Very solid drink. I don't think I would have written this review except for the fact it took 20 minutes of standing indoors (with maskless diners 10 feet away) to receive a bowl of broccoli cheddar that turned out to be two separate cups of soup. If the soup was good they would have been redeemed. The soup was gloopy and hardly had any broccoli. I tried to reheat it the first time in the microwave- after 30 seconds it bubbled around the edges with nothing but oil. I tried the second cup over slow heat on the stove- sadly this didn't improve the results. To the credit of the staff, after I was standing for so long a man did come by and ask what I was waiting for. I get takeout/curbside because I'm fearful for my family. Standing in a coffee shop for 20 minutes waiting for soup and cold brew really defeats the purpose. read more

We arrived at 5:45 and there were a few people enjoying coffee and food. You order at the counter and then your items are brought to your table. We were comped for one drink of our choosing(French 75) and an order of fried pickles. We ordered an additional drink(Sangria) and an order of pretzel bites and beer cheese dip. Our drinks were tasty and strong. The two appetizers arrived hot and were good. If I am honest, paying just under $70 with tip for two glasses of wine $8 each, two entrees $12 each and two coffees $3.75 each, I wouldn't want to order at the counter. It wasn't too sweet, which was a plus for me (I typically drink black coffee via Aeropress), and I'm excited to try the pistachio milk coffee drink next. I could see where a sweet-toothed coffee drinker might feel duped by the presentation vs. taste though. Food: I got the brussel sprout hash. Brussel spouts were undercooked (not crispy, lacked delicious roasted taste) and eggs were very runny, a step beyond over easy.. I wanted it to be good, but it wasn't. Price was very reasonable so not a huge knock. Space: Incredible airy space with plenty of room to sit (upstairs seating). But the vibe is good and I love the second floor balcony overlooking the 1st floor and Brentwood Blvd. We sat at the bar and got to chat with the staff a bit, which is alway nice. I had the jalapeño margarita and LOVED it. It was the perfect balance of spice without being too sweet. We shared the fried pickles, Whiskey Onion Flatbread and dumplings. The flatbread was outstanding, pickles were good -crisp and not greasy, dumplings were ok. I gave them two stars because we ordered ahead via their website, and our order wasn't ready at the assigned pickup time (which was already 30 minutes after our order time). We ended up waiting about an hour for mediocre breakfast sandwiches. Luckily they gave us our coffee first at least. Coffee was reasonably priced but I felt like the sandwiches were overpriced for what you get (just bread, one egg, cheese, and meat). This local coffee shop is one of my favorite places to study! The business can be a little difficult to find if it's your first time since it's tucked away on the bottom corner of University Tower. I love ordering the simple 12 oz drip coffee with some sort of breakfast item. This past time I got the original avocado toast and it was pretty good! I have been wanting to try the "flight of three" off of the signature drinks side of the menu, but it has never seemed like the right time, so I plan on trying that soon (hopefully)! We stopped by Coma Coffee Roasters while waiting for our kids to finish up at camp. The space is situated on the first floor of the large office tower across from St. Louis Galleria. Overall, it is a beautiful build out. However it feels very stark, cold, and impersonal. The tall ceilings and furniture, while attractive, just left the feeling that I was in a lobby of an office building. We ordered a pour over and quiche to split. They had three choices of coffee for pour overs and all sounded wonderful. The coffee did not disappoint. It was well brewed and had great flavor. The quiche was also wonderful. Overall, would I go back to Coma? Yes. But I wouldn't venture out of my way for it. If I'm shopping in Brentwood, I would cross the street rather than endure Starbucks, but I wouldn't make a special trip.
