My daughter and I really liked this hotel in Krakow. While it is not on the main square, it is walking distance. It's very close to the Kazimierz, the former Jewish section, which was convenient for dinners out and morning walks. It was VERY hot when we were there in the summer, but our room had A/C so it was a nice reprieve from the heat.
The hotel arranged a taxi driver to meet us at the airport very late at night for the same price as a normal ride. They arranged tours for us as requested. Tours picked us up at our hotel.
We had a room in the back with a view of the Wawel castle. The room was large, clean and comfortable, had Wifi and had a large bathroom as well, which was very nice. The very affordable price of the hotel ($99) included a lovely breakfast for both of us each morning. The staff was very nice and the front desk personnel spoke English fluently.
