Last time I was here was back in November 2016. Decided to have date night Friday evening. Used Yelp, of course to reserve a table for 2 at 7:30pm. Arrived at 7:15pm checked in and got seated exactly at 7:30pm. We got greeted as we entered. It's a pretty good sized place. Many seats at the bar, booth, high and low table and chairs. It's a pretty loud atmosphere, it's almost hard to hear the person next to you. We got seated in the high table between all of the televisions. Their menu is on paper with no pictures and on a clipboard. Their menu consists of burgers, sandwiches. They have a small selection of non-sandwich/ burger items. They have a wide variety of beers and the alcohol content is is high for a decent price. Our server was very nice and attentive. I love the fact that they have a mini kiosk that they use to take your order down instead of writing it on paper and walking to a register to order they simply just order it right there as they are talking to you which is very convenient. I ordered their (#1 seller) the Bacon Avo Smash burger it comes with seasoned fries. It was huge, flavorful and delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly and I loved how the guac tasted so fresh and the applewood bacon was crunchy and on point. The fries were also very good. The seasoning was perfect and I love how freshly made it was coming to our table and there was also a perfect crunch with each bite. My bf ordered the crazy pasta. Our server mentioned it was a spicy dish we requested that take the jalapenos out so it won't be too spicy. The pasta came out good as well. I loved the shrimp it was very fresh. The pasta sauce had a kick spice to it and it was really good. This dish was definitely packed with flavor. read more

Food was very good, delicious and came out very quick. A lot faster than expected. Our server was attentive, and helpful since this is our first time here I was not sure on what to order. Ate here while passing through on a road trip. The staff were super friendly from hostesses to wait staff. We were frequently checked on, drinks topped off. Restaurant was very clean, food was great (they even helped me make some dietary restriction changes), & after a long day of traveling we were highly impressed. Revisited Colton's Social House last night. Nick our server was positive and seemed to have guest first mentality. Fish & Chips were tasty and hot. Tuna poke was fresh with nice presentation and we enjoyed. Took 15 minutes for our two espresso martinis. The espresso martinis were too sweet(too much Kahlua) & water diluted. More than likely the bartender made 2 in the same shaker instead of each individually. The nice froth was only on 1 of drinks. They also need to double strain their cocktails. Lots of ice chunks. On the bright side it was strong If it's late night and you need a place open in Clovis past 9pm then I'd recommend but not as a destination. If they're going to charge top end prices for cocktails then make top end cocktails. This is our honest experience not personal. read more

We went to get some social therapy, and Colton's was the place to go! We asked for a booth in the bar, and were seated within minutes. Our waiter, Travis, was fun and engaging. I tried the fire & honey biscuit sliders, one of their newer items, and they were fresh and delicious. My partner tried the bacon avocado smash burger with chicken instead, and he said it was fantastic. We've never had a bad experience here! read more

As I sit at this sad excuse of a bar, I wonder, what is the problem? The food was mid, that's me being kind. The service at the bar was kind but lacking. The drinks were not good. The pricing for what we got was ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and find another spot. It's upsetting cause the space is great but the service and food were not hitting the way I hoped. read more

Our waitress talked to us a total of 2 times, take our order and take our money, we had to ask other waiters and waitresses for refills and other things. Cool spot. I always sit at the bar so I can't really comment about anything else for the place. Plus, I'm always drinking so it lends itself well to the location. The fun thing about the place is that drinks always shift, and so does the food so you can come in some other time another season and you'd find more things to discover and try. The bartenders are extremely helpful with any questions you might have, and water refills come frequently. Get a farmers daughter. Just do it if you like strawberries. It's worth it. Anyway, so off the menu I've tried the deviled eggs, the zucchini chips, the brussel sprouts, the atomic poppers, and the crazy pasta. They're all good in their own way. The crazy pasta had a rich savory flavor to it and was good throughout the entire dish. All of the starters were good, but I'd say my favs are the zucchini chips and the deviled eggs panko style. Every time I pop in I must have the deviled eggs tho. Guilty pleasure. I'll definitely come in again when in the area. read more

PAUL IS LITERALLY A SAINT. GIVE THE MAN A RAISE How? You may ask? He treated us with kindness, gave us information about the menu when we asked about (he knew things about the menu we wouldn't think to ask about), and gave us some cool facts about Luxardo Marasca Cherries. Also, the dude had a cool attitude. Like super chill, and when they didn't have enough of the meat I wanted for my burger, he said they are upgrading it to something even better. And I was like ?? I don't even care, if YOU'RE telling ME that my burger is gonna be different, who cares, I know it's gonna be good because YOU'RE telling ME. Love that dude. Also, I noticed he was clapping and maybe I think singing when we were singing for our friends birthday. We were a little obnoxious about it, but he was super chill about it. Have frequented Colton's several times over the last two years. Through all the great food and drinks there's only been one server that I have continued to remember the name of and that's Travis. Figured it's about time i compliment Colton's for hiring awesome staff members and talk about what a experience here is like. His service is impeccable, right balance of business and humor making sure we're taken care of and enjoying our stay. When you then add crafted cocktails and delightful apps and entrees your in store for a delicious meal. Outside of peak hours it's a easy place to get into without s wait, during peak time it is the social setting it sets out to be and you might have a few minutes to wait if you don't plan ahead. Excellent! A few of us were looking for a place to dine outdoors two weeks ago. Colton's has a great patio space, with tables spaced far apart from one another. The service was great (I think our server's name was Kylie). She was knowledgeable, friendly and just attentive enough. The food was amazing! We honestly weren't expecting this quality of food. Our party had the Chicken & Avocado sandwich, the Atomic Poppers, a House Salad, and the Bacon & Avocado Burger. Everything tasted great! The Burger was huge (see associated picture). The beer battered fries were crispy and cooked perfectly. The Atomic Poppers were really good - I'd go back just for those! Bacon-wrapped jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese. Very good! I had a great peanut butter milk stout from Belching Beaver. It wasn't their 'standard' peanut butter milk stout, but a 'Viva la Beaver' - Mexican Chocolate Peanut Butter Stout. And here's the only thing I could complain about, and it certainly does not warrant reducing my rating by a star. I asked about getting a growler filled (I don't go anywhere without a growler). Kylie had to inquire about the pricing. When she came back, she said it would be $35. That pricing seemed off. I got a pint with my meal for $8. So, a growler is roughly 4 pints. Four pints in the restaurant would be $32. Why is a growler more expensive than buying individual pints? I don't think I've encountered that before. When I looked up Viva La Beaver online, the pricing is between $9.50 and $12.00 for a 4-pack of 16 oz cans (equivalent to a growler). Guess I'll get my Viva La Beaver at BevMo or Total Wine. Enough about the beer. Colton's is solid; the whole experience was great. I'll be back. read more

A couple of friends and I came last night to celebrate my birthday and I'd never been before! I thought the patio area was so cute but we were all wearing dresses so we sat indoors. Started off with a round of shots, which were chilled down (why they're so huge) and a couple of drinks. I can't remember what I ordered but it had champagne and vodka in it. Our sever Rachel Z was the absolute sweetest! She kept the drinks coming and was chatting with us for a while. Definitely one of the best waitresses I've ever had. Food was great! My friends ordered the adult Mac and cheese which looked super good. Shrimp tacos could have used a little spice but overall good. Reasonably priced as well. I'll definitely come back soon read more

I came here for lunch the other day and it was ok. This place felt like a chain restaurant. The venue is cool and has a great patio area. We ordered two burgers and the edamame with chili sauce. The edamame with chili sauce was not good and was very goopy. The burgers were pretty good and the fries were decent. I will be back to try other things but this place food was ok. The flat bread was soggy and not my favorite. Salad was fresh and tasty. Garlic fries, were garlic fries. Servers were attentive and friendly. When we walked in there was no hostess or servers around so the bus boy was helping us as best as he could. The only one that went out of his way to help us. He sat us down and told us someone will be here shortly. Our server showed up and said she's training a new server which is okay, but you would think she would be nicer in general. The trainer was a lot nicer but still could smile a little bigger. I was going to order some beers,l since it was happy hour, but you can only get happy hour if you sit at the bar which was crowded.. so we ended up getting water.. when we got our food the fries were lit hot and barely warm like they've been sitting for awhile.. i seriously hate that. But other than that the food was good. I'm only giving 3 starts because of the bus boy, and the taste of the food. Not sure his name but he was full of joy and wore glasses and skinny.
