(that and the high prices of some of their stuff - especially furniture and lamps) It develops in 3 floors, the underground one being the largest with corridors and steps (watch out!) bringing you from room to room. Among the brands they have for home decor: Seletti, Joseph & Joseph, Le Creuset, KitchenAid and many, many more.

As a tourist in Milan my friends and I were looking for a place to explore fabulous, well curated home items. Cargo & High Tech blew us away. It's easy to get lost in the store as it's spread across several buildings over two floors - which makes it fun to explore and discover all the great product. Plan on spending a good hour or so here when you visit - you won't be disappointed!

They have useful stuff to decorate bathrooms (shower curtains, soap dispensers, etc), dining rooms (tablecloths, runners, napkins, dishes, cups), offices (pen holders, desk stuff, clocks, etc), and also a small section for apparel (rain boots, crocs, rain jackets, bags and Superga sneakers mainly). They have many nice plastic tablecloth rolls, heart-shaped pans, funny cups, bath salts, and other stuff you didn't know you needed until you see it.

Anyhow, there I could find cups, notebooks, candle holders, snacks, napkins and all kinds of cute stuff. So it was a great surprise to find it here in Milan a few years later! There are 3 or 4 other Tiger shops in Milan, but I think this one in Via Meravigli is the one I prefer, although is not big, they have lots of stuff for 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10... euro: from candles to napkins, cute dishes, cups, tea bags, spices, some drinks, cookies, notebooks, cookware, coloring books for children, bike accessories, jewelry holders, wrapping paper, you name it! If you're throwing a dinner party, kids party, garden tea or whatever the occasion, you can drop by and find at least one thing to buy for you event. The only thing I don't like is how crowded it can be on lunch hour and the long queue to pay, but apart from that it's great!

I got to go into the store in Milan which I had been dreaming about for years! The clerks were laughing after I came in and dropped to my knees in happiness. They were shocked at this behavior, but I explained to them how obsessed I am with Fornasetti. I purchased 4 new "Julia" plates for my collection which I have scattered about in my homes. They shipped them home for me so I didn't have to deal with lugging them around and possibly breaking them on the trip home. It was fabulous that we were the only ones in the store at that time so we got special attention from the salesgirls who spoke excellent English, which is smart, since a lot of tourists must come in.
