I've only been to Bunker Ulmenwall once, but I found it to be a very interesting establishment. The…read morebar is underground in what was once a bunker. The underground setting seems appropriate for a jazz bar, as that music was once banned and had an underground following in Germany. There was live music performed the night I visited, which I thoroughly enjoyed. From my understanding, there is live music regularly and slam poetry nights. Drinks were a bit pricey, which is why I stuck to drinking beer that night. I'd recommend checking out this bar at least once even if jazz music and poetry are not really your thing.
