Having lived here since 1979, I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. But the main reason for staying is the all-inclusive utilities and pet policy. It is less expensive than any other place I have researched in the area. Also location close to work and shopping. One huge plus for me is the neighborhood element of families. There are a broad range of generations and people from other places such as Canada and even India - I love the feel of living in a diverse neighborhood! The last power outage we sat outside and talked! It was wonderful! The downside - there are always cons: the regular preventative maintenance and upkeep over the years has been practically nonexistent and has resulted in mismatched carpet, linoleum, units desperately needing a facelift and only one maintenance man when in the past we had at least two. My carpet was old when I moved into the present unit 12+ years ago and stained. I steam clean annually, but it is worn out. Last inspection I was told it would be replaced when I moved ??? But I was told that because I couldn't move my own furniture it couldn't be done - what? So I BOUGHT two room-sized rugs and did my own improvement. My home is now very pretty but it was my purchase. I have to be honest - I got the original nearly 40 year old linoleum replaced last year, and I did get a new vanity sink in the bathroom. Also a fiberglass tub surround that I had asked over four years for to replace the missing grouted original walls I had and rusted through tub. The tub is not repaired well and has a thin coat of some kind of paint? Sealer?. As I said, the past owners/management kept passing on shoddy repairs and doing things as cheaply as possible. You get what you pay for. Landscaping and appearance - this is a real problem for those of us who enjoy neatness and take pride in our homes. I love planting flowers and having a pretty porch, but there are huge bare spots all over the front and some back lawns that turn to mud, particularly D, C, and E. It is very ugly and makes those areas unusable, and very embarrassing for tenants having visitors. Then it was decided that things would be better to cut out all the shrubbery, understood they were untrimmed but they hid a lot of ugly in front of my unit and others, creating more bare spots and mud. It looks terrible. They spread a lot of extra dirt from A building around where they were cut - I have one huge dirt area in front of my building by my kitchen window. Sometimes things are started but not finished so we don't know if this will be fixed, replaced, etc. or not...or how long it will take. Maintenance man can't do it.... read more

I've been leaving at this apartment with my family from past 4.5 years and until 3.5 years i haven't had any problems except some roaches issue which was taken care well and no more roaches. But from past 1 year we are having issue with cigarette and Marijuana smell from below unit which basically raising up into our apartment which basically made our life hell. And we really having hard time leaving in this situation with family and newborn kid. I've given so many complaints to the property manager, corporate office but they haven't taken care except providing air purifier which not helped us. Other than smoke issue the property manager and maintenance person are so nice, friendly and helpful to us for fixing things quickly and faster which i am not seen in any other locations. I moved in two weeks ago and nothing has stood out as unsatisfactory. The rent is a fair price for what you get and people seem friendly enough. The washer/dryer situation could use some work and you need to provide your own AC unit. read more

I moved into these apartments in July, and love it here. It is a great place to live. The apartments are very clean and kept up, and the people and management are very friendly. The rent is cheap, and all utilities are included, which is a plus. The washer and dryer are not in the units, but are available on site. You have to provider your own AC unit. read more

The facility could definitely use some updates and cleaning. There is often trash all over the parking lot. Many other residents do not listen to the no smoking rule in the hallways. There were stray cats all over the property the first two months I lived there. The washer and dryers are always in repair. The overall cleanliness of the apartment buildings could use some improvement. However, it is very nice having all the utilities included in the rent. This is a huge help. Also being able to have a month to month lease is a bonus while we are in search of new jobs, unsure where that will be. It is a good location with all of the restaurants and stores on the same street. read more
