Totally agree both the guys are super rude. Put them out of business. I was going to buy a clock and 3 stiens. However my brothers all have different taste so I was going to take a picture of them and let them choose. Instead one guy literally screamed, NO pictures. Most business want you to bump and show case their merchandise. Makes me think it is not authentic or why would you care. I'm certain there aren't beer stein copyrights, lol. They totally ignored me regarding the clock, but was super helpful to the gentleman asking for prices however when he questioned authenticity they quit taking to him. Overall they are rude and hateful and give a bad vibe. Take your money elsewhere. read more

Exceedingly rude owner who picks and chooses who he lets in the store (presumably after judging whether or not they can afford the vastly overinflated prices). Would not let the young adults in our party in until we pointed out they were with us. The same items are available elsewhere for 25-50% lower prices. I would recommend you avoid this shop. read more

Nie Wieder!! Ich war noch nicht mal drinnen und will nicht mal mehr in diese Straße laufen. Ich bin anscheinend Stroh dumm laut Besitzer ohne dass wir ein Wort ausgetauscht haben. Ich bin nochmal hingegangen und wollte eine Entschuldigung aber das macht er ja laut eigener Aussage niemals weil es ja die Wahrheit ist?! Er empfand es als Spaß und es ist ja auch alles gut so. Für Ihn ! Für mich war's das nicht! Ich durfte den Laden nicht betreten und nichts für meine Eltern kaufen! So ein respektloser Mensch ist mir noch nie begegnet und wird es hoffentlich auch nicht. Ich wünsche dem Mann alles gute und dass er hoffentlich Frieden mit sich selbst findet. I will never try to shop in this place again. I have tried fo two years to purchase a figure from this shop and dispute the fact that the figures I would like being in the window on both occasions I have been told that they are not in stock even though they are in the window on both sides of the door. The owner then tries to sell you something else and when you enquire if you can get the item from the window they refuse and become rude and disrespectful to you. Is it that they don't like you or do they just not want your custom. This is the only place in Cologne that has been like this with me and I am still angry with them. read more

Rude. The shop looks to have some really interesting souvenirs from outside but as we entered the store we were shouted at by a man behind the counter "No No No" pointing at our pushchair. There was no explanation or apology which you'd think would be given at the very least in German - my partner speaks some German so could have understood any issue. The owners are extremely rude. I made purchase then came back with my daughter because they had something she was looking for. As she inspected tile trivets for defects, owner raised his voice to my grown adult daughter and " What's the problem they are all the same." Meanwhile he doesn't realize that there were 2 different styles. I stated as walking out the door if I would have said this to my customers when I owned a gift shop, I would not have been in business for 23 years. only because of what my daughter wanted was at this shop. we would have walked out and gave them a nasty jeste. read more

Extremely rude shop owner. When I entered the shop I mentioned that I would like to look around and I was looking for a ... He did not let me finish and told me in a very angry way that I could come back tomorrow since he didn't need people who only wanted to look around followed by more rude language. He then closed the security strap of the door on me. Leaving me confused as it was way before closing time and other customers entered the shop after. Wondering what the flip was going on here I started to get angry. So I mentioned sweetly I would like to buy 3 dolls in the window and it was a pity that I could not buy them today but had to come back tomorrow. He immediately turned friendly and said that if I wanted to buy them then of course I could buy them today. I replied that he was too late now and I thought he was very unkind and I would not like to buy anything from anyone who behaved that way. He started to shout at me, shouting that he hoped he would never see me again. I could assure him that that would never happen. I left and really felt upset for a while. Btw, not that it should matter but I am a western white female with a nice purse and neatly dressed, very average and smiling as I don't want to offend anyone and my parents raised me well thank you very much. read more

I was really surprised by what happened to us in such modern western city, Here is my story to share: Last Sat we brought our guests who came from the U.S for a visit in Koln, together we have 4 adults with two children, walking on the street we found this interesting shop and wanted to get inside, right before we get in, the owner stop us at the front door and ask us to put the hands in the pocket, we were treated like shoplifters, there were some other tourists also inside the shop, but none of them were Hands in the pockets, I tried to ask the shop owner why is that, and he just shot the door and forbidden us to came inside, I wonder, is that because we are Asian, ( inside the shop, all th custemers were westerners) , the whole situation really left us angers and uncomfortable feelings. I would not recommend anybody for this unfriendly shop! read more
