The clinic here is very well-run and appointments have to be made well in advance. This is not a drop-in clinic. Each session costs $20 a pop, in contrast to the $50-$80 you might have to pay for a practicing and certified acupuncturist. Students here are strictly monitored by their professors and teachers, all of whom are board certified. I've been coming here for a few years and you initial visit will involve you filling out a detailed questionnaire about your medical background and what ailment you are seeking the acupuncture for exactly. After that, you will discuss the questionnaire and your concerns with the trainee. All of them are very friendly but this is a French language CEGEP so if you're uni-lingual English, you might want to ask beforehand for someone bilingual so there is no risk of misunderstanding one another. Depending on what you are being treated for, your treatment may involve weekly visits ranging from 2-8 weeks. The treatment and the service I have received to date were nothing less than professional and friendly. And I didn't have to rob a bank to get it either!

The eduroam Wi-Fi is reliable and gives Internet to users from all universities.

En décembre 2022, l'école a fermé ses portes pour une durée d'un mois, sans un préavis suffisant. Nous avons été informés vendredi à 11h pour une fermeture à 12h. Nous devions continuer nos cours à distance durant cette période, mais nous avons été informés le lundi suivant que ceux-ci n'auraient pas lieu en raison d'un manque d'enseignants. En janvier 2023, nous avons découvert les nouveaux locaux : la connexion internet est instable, le chauffage ne fonctionne pas correctement et le vidéoprojecteur n'est pas bien réglé (illisible à plus de 2 mètres du tableau), et l'insonorisation est presque inexistante alors qu'il y avait des travaux dans d'autres pièces. En ce qui concerne la qualité de l'enseignement, je suis extrêmement déçu par les enseignants. Leur français n'est pas à la hauteur, ils ne montrent pas le respect nécessaire et certains d'entre eux ne connaissent même pas bien leur domaine. Les frais de scolarité sont exorbitants pour la qualité de l'éducation que nous recevons et la direction semble ne rien faire pour améliorer la situation. La communication entre l'administration et les étudiants est presque inexistante. Nous ne sommes jamais informés des décisions qui affectent nos études et nous n'avons aucune voix dans les processus décisionnels de l'école. Le directeur pédagogique m'a même dit "Je n'ai aucun compte à te rendre". Cependant, il faut reconnaître que le service comptabilité est très fiable et toujours là pour vous rappeler de payer vos frais de scolarité. En conclusion, je ne peux pas recommander l'Institut supérieur d'informatique de Montréal à quiconque cherche une éducation de qualité à un prix raisonnable. J'ai été profondément déçu par cette expérience et je conseille à tout le monde de chercher ailleurs pour leur formation en informatique. It costs 20K for most programs, and they last about 16 months give or take a few months. It depends what program you take. A few complaints: the computers are really outdated and SLOW. I would have expected up to date computers given how much we pay. Also pretty disappointed with how little knowledge one of my teachers had for a course I was taking. I had to rely on google which makes absolutely no sense. I'm hoping it's a fluke, because I have 1.5 years to go in my program and expect knowledgable teachers. I dont want to say the school is absolute shit because it isn't. I just really feel that I am getting ripped off. If you are considering going here, I would suggest also looking at coding bootcamps. There are a few in Montreal, they are much cheaper, and might be a better alternative.

This is an amazing, amazing school although the business students couldn't keep a bar afloat in a university ghetto (it is now the St-Hubert on Cote-des-Neiges). Fantastic library and the place teaches EVERYTHING. Plus it's loaded with history; my graduation for my master's degree was in the same rotunda out of which Pierre Elliott Trudeau graduated. He probably spent three long and painful hours of convocation staring at the same rather abstract crucifix. But the beautiful Art Deco library tower against a brilliant cerulean winter sky will always be in my memory.
