Reviewing is not something I normally partake in, but after my experience here I feel a certain…read moreduty to inform others! THE GOOD: - The lady at the front desk (I forgot her name, sorry!) is very caring and she will make sure you get an appointment - The male doctor, Alonzo(sp?) is also as good as he can be, given the short amount of time allotted due to the hectic scheduling. THE BAD: The Skype sessions with "Psychiatrist" Linda Marie Banziger. She is the most unqualified, unprofessional, sociopathic mental health "professional" I have ever had the displeasure of encountering. After passing all my drug tests (and there were many,) having a clean record, no drug abuse history whatsoever, Linda decided that because I had exhausted all the gabbapentin, seroquil, and Tylenol to no avail, that she would go ahead and call me, "A drug seeker who is pretending to have anxiety," because if" I "actually had the anxiety" I "claimed to have then one of those medications would have worked for you. It is obvious to me that you are making excuses for those not working so that I will write you a benzo. Which I will not do because they are bad, and you are unqualified to take it. And that isn't normal medication to write for anti anxiety. " (Really, now? That hilariously, stupid statement alone should be grounds for automatic disqualification to practice medicine!) The funniest part is -- I never asked for a benzodiazepine. But because I told her the medications we tried put me to sleep, I am a 'drug seeker'. I am fortunate enough not to have suicidal tendencies because if I did, that kind of low-level bullying and name calling just might have sent me over the edge. I am truly baffled as to how in the world Linda thought becoming a licensed mental health agent was her calling. Please Linda, invest in some refresher courses on the different types of medications available and the pharmacology involved in the way medications affect individuals differently. Put forth extreme effort to taking your head out of Uranus long enough to notate the difference(s) between antipsychotics, anti-convulsants, and benzodiazepines. While you are at it, turn in your last time card and clock out for good. You are a disgusting individual, and you should be ashamed of yourself for your behavior. (Though, you aren't because you are a sociopath with zero empathy for others!) I rate you as a F- because YOU are unqualified to look after those in need of someone who genuinely cares. Lastly, see if there is a class for CLASS, you disrespectful fool. I moved here from Louisiana over 1 year ago with a diagnosis for PTSD and a Klonopin script, which I was stripped of as soon as I arrived. It has been the hardest year of my life with no helping medication OR mental healthcare at all, both of which I sought after with Corazon. - Patient treatment. If you like being treated and looked down upon as if you are guilty of some heinous crime then Corazon is the place you ought to be! -The parking sucks lol.
