Collective Coffee is caddy-corner from Midwestern State University with both students and locals. I just dropped in to get me a coffee for the road and was quite impressed with the smooth taste and low acidity. Service was really friendly and there is plenty of spaces to sit and do homework, chat with friends, or just sit and let your mind wonder... The inside was very cozy so I can understand that every seat was filled, which was good for me to get my coffee to go. read more

Collective Coffee is a newcomer among the coffee shops in Wichita Falls. So far, it's topped them all. Maybe it's because it is the new shiny penny in town? Or maybe they truly just stand out because of the vibe, the style, the minimalistic colors and the modern ambience... we'll see! Though it does feel nice hanging out here. I would come here everyday if I lived in Wichita Falls. Gorgeous modern decor and great drinks. They converted this gas station and did an excellent job. I've had the cold brew and drip and variety of tea. We liked the gluten free peanut butter cookie and their chocolate chip cookie which tasted like a scone. Most of all, this is a great place to work! I was visiting from out of town and was able to get some work done at this coffee shop because the vibe is so good. It's clean and airy and soothing. I don't know about the bathroom situation. Plenty of parking outside. The baristas and staff were all young and super friendly. It's got a hipster vibe but in a great way. Wichita Falls needs more coffee shops like this one. read more

Collective Coffee is a unique coffee shop with modern decor. It is interesting how they adapted the previous structure (a gas station) to what it is today. Once you enter, you are treated to a very clean and spacious layout with enough seats for one person or 10. The service is also kind and welcoming. The baristas seem to enjoy their job, chilling there during breaks and socializing with the customers instead of dashing away. Oh, and the internet password is really funny, although hard to find if it's your first time there. I had the popular chocolate chip muffin and Honey Cinnamon latte, and it was perfect. The latte was perfectly foaming and not too sweet or bitter. The chocolate chip muffin was filling and delicious. It didn't need the sugar on the top, but that's just my personal opinion. Hands down, the best coffee shop in Wichita Falls. They have excellent knowledge of all things coffee, from consistency in dialing in the espresso machine throughout the day to sourcing quality roasted coffee. They take great pride in the presentation and the final product. They offer great creative swag and gear and an excellent selection of freshly baked goodies and cold drinks. I'm not a wine or beer guy, but they also have those options. The shop is comfortable and clean, and the bathrooms are always clean and in service. It's refreshing to have people serving coffee who love and appreciate coffee and not just see it as a job. read more

Super aesthetic gas station turned cafe that is perfect for working (outlets everywhere) and socializing! I haven't tried their coffee but their chai latte was quite expensive ($6.50 with almond milk), though they do make their concentrate from scratch rather than store bought syrup like most stores. read more

Very solid coffee shop! My husband and I stopped by while in town based on a recommendation. The menu wasn't overwhelming but has great options. The shop was so cute and open. The only down side is the bathrooms outside are unisex and smell horrible. It's like a gas station bathroom. Ok, collective is the cutest little coffee joint with the sweetest peeps behind the bar. They've got some pretty cool drinks and so far I've only had a blueberry latte and the iced matcha... either way they've got lots of options and this warm blueberry muffin should be one if you opt out of a beverage. But don't think the inside is going to be harsh lights, fountain drink dispensers, and hot dogs twirling away under a heat lamp. Interior is sleek, earth-toned, and cozy. This is the study spot cafe Wichita Falls needed, and it's doing an amazing job in it's first few months of business. I'll definitely be back, and I hope you give the Collective a try as well. My husband and I first visited this coffee shop because his boss hosted a get together here for game night. We lived very close to this shop and were excited to try coffee from somewhere besides Starbucks. I have heard such great raves from friends about the owners of the shop and wanted to support small business. Upon entering (maybe because I knew it use to be a gas station), it smelt more like a gas station than a coffee shop. The vibe, as others have stated, feels hip/like Austin. The music was kind of loud, but the patrons didn't seem to mind, even though some of them looked like they were studying. There are comfy little nooks you and your friends could chill in and have a little bit of privacy. As for the coffee and teas, as other reviewers have mentioned, does not taste consistent. My husband got the same coffee the three times we've been and he has said it has tasted different each time. My go to is a matcha green tea. The last time I got it here, it tasted more like milk than tea. Pricing seems average/competitive with other coffee shops. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They are also helpful if you are not sure about what to order. They were very patient with us the first time we visited and gave us a rundown of everything they had to offer. Overall, this coffee shop isn't my first choice, but I am not opposed to visiting again with friends. read more

This place was overall eh. The staff wasn't very welcoming or friendly. I ordered an iced mocha and white iced mocha. The mocha tasted very milky. There wasn't much of a mocha or coffee taste. The white mocha was in the sweeter side, but not much of a coffee taste. A size large is 16oz and it was $15 for two. The spot is very cute and was very clean. There's a lot of space for seating. I liked that they served beer, wine and coffee. They had some pastry options as well, but I did not try any. read more

Frozen lemonade can be had and BYOL if legal you want an hard lemonade on a hot day. The breakfast items are all fresh made here locally too and are the perfect treat with coffee. I haven't been there in the evening for happy hour but the beer selection is great. Every time I come back home for a visit, I am more and more impressed with the food and coffee choices. A friend asked to meet here and I was SO happy. Wide, open spaces with tables for work, homework, or meetings. The coffee was top notch and they had several food choices that I wasn't expecting- brisket bites (huge board!) and vegan queso with chips. There were other food choices that were sold out.
