When he arrived, he introduced himself to our realtor, and then I had to introduce myself and say "I'm the guy who hired you. You're working with me." He continued to direct all comments to the realtor. Unprofessional and inappropriate. Also inappropriate was how he came in and immediately said "Wow! You'd be lucky to get this for $XXX. Or even $YYY!" He was so inappropriately enthralled with the property from the time he set foot in it, all confidence in his ability to objectively make an appraisal went right out the window. And he continued to ignore me, the customer, and interact solely with my realtor. Including, when I was out of the room, telling the realtor he wouldn't be able to get the estimate done until FIVE days after we told him we needed it done by WHEN WE HIRED HIM for the gig. AND, as it would turn out, he had NO idea of the age of the house (which is unusual as he should've looked that up before setting foot in the place) or that there was a pipeline running through the property; completely unprepared. Oh, and after he left (an hour later), the realtor said "Did you happen to notice the woman sitting in his car the entire time?" Um, it was 90+ degrees out and no. No I did not. He ignored repeated attempts at contact and delivered the report 5 days after his commitment when we booked him. So, yes. "Eeks! Methinks not!"

As the seller we feel we were not represented well, documents were missing and being new to the close process we were not advised what was required, a checklist would have been useful. The close process was difficult since the estimate (key document) was never provided.

He was especially knowledgeable and strategic during the offer negotiations, and the clever way he structured our offer ultimately made the difference between winning and losing the house. His extensive experience building homes was another major advantage--he taught us a great deal and helped us distinguish genuine quality from potential problems during showings. Just as importantly, Brendan was thoughtful, steady, and responsive throughout, making a stressful and complicated process feel far more manageable. We couldn't recommend him more highly.

I was selling my home "By Owner" and offering any agent 3% commission if they had a buyer who…read morebought it. Ernie Facchine from KW Main Line brought forth a buyer and the property was sold. In the process of dealing with Facchine, I found him to be dishonest, a liar, and manipulative. One situation arose where a home appraiser for the buyer's mortgage company determined that the house needed three carbon monoxide detectors installed by the end of the next business day or the appraiser would have to schedule another appointment and charge Facchine's buyer another inspection fee. I offered to handle the situation to avoid another fee to his client and Facchine was thankful that I would; and, he told me twice to get a receipt for the three detectors. I bought them, installed them, and emailed photos to the appraiser and Facchine to accomplish the task. It took just under four hours to do the job. When it came time for Ernie Facchine to reimburse me for the three CM detectors, he backed out on our agreement and stiffed me for the money. But more importantly Facchine took advantage of my time, effort and trust. I wrote a letter to his broker, Jeffrey Beers, over a month ago detailing this situation and have not received a response from him. It does not say much for Keller Williams Main Line that they employ a dishonest agent, Ernie Facchine, and that his broker, Jeffrey Beers, doesn't think enough about the dishonest actions of his agent enough to respond to me regarding this situation. Stay away from Keller Williams Main Line.
