After making them for friends and hearing constant encouragement, he decided to turn it into a business. It's always interesting hearing how local businesses get started, and this one felt very organic and community driven. He's even appeared on Food Network shows like Holiday Baking Championship and Chopped, which has helped bring visitors from out of state to High Point just to try the cheesecake. Overall it was a great visit, and it was nice learning more about how the business began. I love seeing the high point mural on the wall it really added to the ambiance!

We are so glad we made the stop today, the coffee is delicious hot or cold. Customer service is top notch!I love the pink decor. Since our free coffee coupon came with a macaroon, but since neither one of us eat macaroons, they didn't give us another option. I've been looking for somewhere nearby to get a proper macaron (as opposed to a hard, macaron shaped cookie without the traditional texture) at a reasonable price point. This definitely met those criteria, so of course we tried a flower shaped macaron. It had the perfect, delicate cookie and that classic, light almondy flavor. We also had a brownie batter cookie, which was delicious and reminds me of something I would have saved on Pinterest a decade ago but never gotten around to making, much less as well as they do. Though there was a line inside, we were served super quickly by friendly staff, and found a nice seat outside in the sun. They also had abundant indoor seating.
