Unfortunately, I was still disappointed with the reading. I chose Claire specifically because of the many positive reviews describing her ability to connect with loved ones on the other side. I went into the session genuinely excited and hopeful that I might have a similar experience, especially because I was hoping to hear from a recently deceased loved one. Very little of our time, however, was spent on that connection. Much of the session instead focused on my perspective and way of thinking, along with numerous examples and stories from Claire's own experiences. I found myself wishing that more of our time had been devoted to the mediumship connection I had come hoping to experience. I found this frustrating because much of what she was suggesting felt fairly elementary and didn't reflect the depth or complexity of what I had hoped to explore. More than anything, I didn't feel that she fully understood what I needed from the reading. I had hoped to hear more about my loved one, but the session felt much more focused on discussion, perspective, and personal storytelling than on mediumship. Claire herself was kind, warm, and well-intentioned, and I want to be fair about that. Her style may resonate very well with others, and clearly many people have had meaningful experiences with her. Unfortunately, my experience was very different from what I had hoped for based on the reviews I had read.
