    Avoid for Hair Dye…read more Across several appointments with hairstylist Zufer at Cut and Color Winterthur, I experienced an unprofessional handling of my hair coloring and inadequate consideration of customer feedback. At my first visit, my white roots were not properly covered. The issue was only acknowledged after we checked the result in natural light, and the work was redone. The hair was too dark, but I gave them a second chance because a hairdresser may need time to understand how different hairs react. At the second appointment, I explained the technique used by my hairdresser/colorist for 20 years in my home country (my choice, but, unfortunately i cannot travel every 3 weeks to do my hair with him): dividing the hair into thin strands, applying a slightly darker tone only to 3-5 cm of white roots to avoid transparency, leaving it to process for about 40 minutes, followed by a gloss to refresh my natural medium to light brown color, which I like and would like to keep. A much darker shade was applied by Zufer and extended 10-15 cm from the roots, creating a visible black band and two hair colors... I booked a correction. The service was delegated to a very junior apprentice without prior notice, guidance or supervision. I had to repeat the former instructions and expressed concern that the color was again being applied beyond the roots and that the process was taking too long and the hair was getting too dark again. The apprentice stated she had not prepared the color mixture and requested assistance from a more experienced apprentice (she was of course right, courteous and professional). The final result was black hair, unsuitable for my age. I informed Zufer that appointments booked with an experienced stylist should not be reassigned without notice to apprentices and that they should receive proper guidance and supervision, especially in dealing with clients that were not happy with former results. I also requested that Sabrina, the second assistant, who was quick and seemed to understand what had to be done, handle my hair next time and stated that I would provide to Sabrina the color formula used by my long-term hairdresser. At my next scheduled appointment, I was informed by Zufer upon arrival - without any prior notice - that the salon would no longer provide services to me because they were not happy with the way I dealt with their apprentices. I asked Zufer why he had not cancelled my booking, allowing me to search someone else, and he said that he only had the contact of my boyfriend and would not like to address the topic with him. This was not correct: Zufer could have simply asked my boyfriend to inform me that I should contact Cut and Color and the explanation was not convincing, because my boyfriend was with me when we arrived for my appointment and it was denied. My boyfriend was shocked with the treatment I received. I have written this longer feedback to make management of Cut and Color aware of all circumstances of the case. In my view, any establishment that does not listen to customers' look for and is unwilling to address critical feedback to improve cannot earn their customers trust and loyalty. Cut and Color lost two clients, me and my boyfriend. As a consequence I went to another hairdresser in Winterthur, where they were transparent about assigning an apprentice because I had no booking, clearly explained her level of training, and carefully followed my instructions. Although correcting the black color left by Cut and Color will take time, unless I completely remove the color of my hair, which was not an option to avoid damaging my hair, the professionalism and attention to my concerns were impeccable and the price was equivalent to the one charged by Cut and Color. BTW anyone interested in Cut and Color should consult their lowest reviews about hair coloring.

Jedoch war ich stark irritiert und genervt von der lautstarken Unterhaltung direkt neben mir zwischen den lernenden Azubis und der Chefin, welche sehr unfreundlich und Herabkommend mit Ihren Azubis sprach. Dieses Verhalten ist nicht Wertschätzend. Leider fehlt mir hier die Herzlichkeit, welche bereits beginnt wenn ich ankomme. Keine Begrüssung oder Hilfe dabei mir die Tür zu öffnen ( Gehbehinderung). Als Kunde möchte ich in der Zeit beim Friseur doch auch mich herzlich Willkommen fühlen und einfach mal entspannen. Leider sehe ich mich da gezwungen, nicht mehr zu kommen. Petra
