It's central, relatively inexpensive (26 euros for a student cut, style and blowdry) and service is quite fast. There was only one hairdresser working, I presume the owner, and luckily for me there was no one else being served when I entered the shop. I was thus immediately allowed to sit down, described what I wanted "pas trop courts, ajouter un peu de volume" etc, and I sat back and relaxed while my hair was washed. I love that part, it's almost like a head massage. I then moved to the mirror in an upright position, and the hair dresser asked me whether I wanted it layered (un dégradé). I agreed, and she checked whether what she was about to cut was too much, and I insisted it was fine as my hair is full of split ends and could do with a bit more body. She also checked where I wanted my parting, I asked for her expert opinion and she put it slightly to the right of centre, where she suggested it fell naturally. The cut was quick but professional. We talked a little bit about where I am from, what I study at univerrsity and I skimmed through an Elle magazine which was on the desk. It look less than one hour and I was very happy with the result, and indeed the price and location. I will be back if I ever feel my hair is a bit depressed again. I left the salon feeling like a little princess, bought a pretty new top and made a lovely healthy salad to celebrate.

I was so happy to stumble upon Lucie Pham, and even though I was terribly nervous, (I mean who hasn't had a bad experience with a hairdresser before? Double that with the supposed language barrier and you could say I was terrified) I walked into Lucie's and felt immediately at ease. I came in with my broken french, a picture in hand and the rest is history. I got my hair done by Deshira, who was really sweet and did everything I asked and more. And let's not forget the amazing head and neck massage.

My first ever haircut and treatment in France since we have relocated here in late Feb. After googling about hair salon nearby 2nd district and read the Yelp reviews, I have decided to give this one a chance and I am not disappointed. It's only 20 min easy walk from north to south of the 2nd. My stylist is Joseph. He speaks very good English. We have no problem communicating. Cost is very reasonable. He takes his time and listens to my request and questions. He is friendly and genuine. The salon is not luxury but clean, tidy and cozy. In two hours, we have completed coloring using natural products ( no ammonia), deep natural hair treatment, hair cut and styling. Before the service, I looked like a person who desperately need to be fixed by a professional hair stylist. Well, it's been more than 3 months without seeing anyone. After seeing Joseph, I look all brand new. What a relief and walking away with a big smile on my face. I of course have booked my next appointment with him in July as soon as I'm done. Highly recommended this place if you don't speak much French. I'm a happy and lucky customer. Will be a repeated customer.

I'm visiting Annecy for a few days and needed my color touched up. I walked into this shop…read moreexpecting to be told they were booked solid--especially since my hair is very resistant and takes extra time to process. Nobody batted and eye as they showed me to the upstairs area for color treatment. (No being displayed while not looking my best??? WONDERFUL!!) The color is perfect, no stains on my face, and I am so very happy I walked into this shop this morning!!! If I lived here this salon would have all my business.
