Horrible. Dont expect them to ever answer the phone or actually call you to let you know whats going on with your case. Believe all these 1* reviews its no joke, im sure they'll reply on here saying they have no record of me. Heres a nice wasted timeline. Car accident June 4th. Visited Cohen & Dwin office tell them everything about my case they say the next step is therapy. We finished PT on July 10. Jasmine or Dwin i dont know who does what submitted the list of demands to the insurance company they told me on August 5th 2 weeks go by i call them wondering theres any update, Jasmine then says no update but once its 30 days Mr. Dwin can call them. So i call back Sept 5th there is still no update on ANYTHING that is going 3 weeks go by i call them again on sept 23 asked for a update yet again jasmine told me there is no update i said we need to get things moving i dont have a car, and she replies with didnt you get your car fixed from the repair shop already?? MY CAR WAS TOTALED.. How are you my lawyer but dont know my car is totatled. I then asked to talk to Mr. Dwin to see if he could tell me whats actually going on. She said i needed a phone appointment so i make one for OCT 2nd. So OCT 2nd comes and my phone rings ( Got me excited first time since i hired them they actually contacted me ) its jasmine having to cancel my phone appointment with Mr. Dwin i said okay so we re scheduled for OCT 9th at 3:30. So again OCT 9th comes around i call the office and im told hes on his way back to the office call back in about 10 minutes, so 3:45 comes i call back he still isnt in the office and the man told me he would have Mr. Dwin call me back. So i wait and wait and wait.. Hear nothing then comes OCT 17 my Physical therapy office calls me stating they need payment since Mr. Dwin is no longer representing me. meanwhile i have no clue. So i call Mr. Dwin finally the first time in 5 months i get this man on the phone and he says i sent you a letter of why i can longer represent you( The accident was in PA which he knew THE DAY I CAME INTO HIS OFFICE) So then as i say you mean to tell me we just wasted almost 6 months for you to tell me you cant represent my case for something you knew the day i met with you? He then says I sent you a letter, have a good day and hangs up. Ive never been so mind blown. read more

Even though, my case resolved they provided poor representation. Communication was horrible. I never had communication with the lawyers. The paralegals were never able. I only knew about my settlement through a settlement letter not from Cohen & Dwin. They never communicated what my settlement amount until I was about sign my paperwork. If you want better communication I suggest you go somewhere else. read more

In 2018, my three children were in an automobile crash. They were rear-ended, and sustained injury. I initially had no intention of hiring a personal injury lawyer, but when my young sons' injuries seemed to be such that they would need long term care, I decided to file a suit. I met with Mr. Dwin's junior colleague, and really gullibly (having never done this before) trusted that this firm (I had read some good reviews) would represent us well and not take advantage of my naivety. I was so wrong. Mr. Dwin's staff was rude, and when I asked him to intervene he stated that they "were NEVER rude" and refused to correct them. I then tried to move the case away from him only to have him contact my ex-husband and speak to him instead of me. My relationship with my ex is contentious at best, Mr. Dwin used that to hold my case hostage. When I was finally able to have my ex agree (after several very upsetting emails and much stress) to move the case elsewhere, Mr. Dwin threatened me with litigation if I were to write a bad review. Mr. Dwin is a despicable human being who instead of helping me and my children, created a situation where I was further at odds with my ex. He even sent a lying letter to the new attorney saying that I was trying to not involve my ex (he stated that that was the reason I was trying to move the case) which was completely untrue, among other false characterizations of me in order to keep the money that would have been attained from this suit. He threatened me, was verbally abusive, and caused some real damage to my already strained relationship with my ex. As of now, the suit is finally settled and Mr. Dwin will receive 1/3 of the payout for doing absolutely nothing except make my life difficult. Do not trust this charlatan, stay as far away as possible form him and his associates. Mr. Dwin is what is wrong with the justice system. I truly don't understand how he sleeps at night. read more
