One thing we don't get in the US is very young or raw milk cheeses as there is a pasteurization and aging requirement. It seems that Denmark was going through some similar,though more relaxed laws on this which are changing due to a persistent Frenchman. In talking to the owner we knew that he was a food lover in general based on some questoins he asked: Owner: " what would you like to try?" Us: "What do you love?" Owner: "I love everything here!" Us: "Let's narrow it down to what you consider special. We're looking for thing we wouldn't otherwise be able to get at home" Owner *pulling out tons of samples*: "Are you going to Noma?" Us: "Yes, we are looking forward to it" Owner: "You must be rich people." Us: "Uh not really but we do love food and it's high on the list here" Owner: "Well then you will love the live Fjord Shrimp dish with the brown butter. It is fantastic!" We laugh as we try all the delicious cheese he presents. We walk out with probably a half dozen different things in small quantities that we eat at the nearby square with our baked goods and butcher meats. It was a great eating day.

It's a well-curated shop mostly dominated by a deli (fine cured meats and cheeses), wine and spirits, and options for quick (but still fancy) pre-prepared dinners like roasted poussin and chilled soups. There is a very large selection of wines and an impressive selection of scotch and port. And similar to D&D, they have a monthly wine club, in their case a wine tote (literally a tote bag of wine, 6 to be precise) where there is a 3 wine selection (2 bottles of each). I don't know if prices change, but this month's was about 475 kr. Quiet and relaxed space, nice service, beautiful displays, a great shop to browse (and occasionally buy).

Cheddar cheese (the real kind, might even qualify as "sharp"), and various other stinky french cheeses 5. Cofoco's Supermarché Frozen French onion soup, with real stock (for hangovers, try it) 6. Pecans, once a year, for pecan pie 7. Seafood (their fiskefrikadeller are awesome, as is the homemade remoulade) Best idea is to go here with cash in your pocket, otherwise, it's entirely possible to buy the whole store.

Excellent Charcuterie & paired perfectly with the Blanc Chavignol. The table next to me had a Rilletes sampler (Duck, goose, chicken & rabbit) which looked really good! They have a small shop where you can buy various French delicacies (Foie Gras, various cured meats, etc). Also, wine and liqueurs. A little bit of Paris in CPH. There are over 35 restaurant stalls run by independent owners, 10 bars and an onsite brewery. The food is relatively inexpensive, and is generally of good quality. The vibe of this place is very lively and there is typically lots of music too. The variety of food is astonishing. We were able to sample food from several stalls and we enjoyed all of it.
