My girls and I had such high hopes for this place and were so eager to try it out just to be very disappointed in our experience. I want to preface this review by saying I understand this is a new place which comes along with growing pains and trying to figure things out (esp like keeping up with the demand after blowing up on social media), so we were patient to that fact. However, many things still let us down. For one, we went on a Wednesday morning and by 9am they were already sold out of food and oat milk. When I asked the cashier how all the food could possibly be sold out, she didn't have a clear answer for me and said she would ask her boss. When I came back up to the front to ask for the wifi, she said they have an off-site chef that drops off the food every OTHER day. This is something that would've been helpful to know ahead of time as we were so hungry and were relying on them for breakfast since they had such an impressive and extensive menu from what we saw online. So knowing ahead of time that we were going on an 'off' day wouldve allowed us to plan differently. The only food left was a croissant sandwich and egg bites. Both my girls ordered the egg bites and both came out cold. One of my friends asked them to reheat it and the middle was still cold after the second heat-up! They ended up offering her a refund and we ended up leaving since they had no food (besides pastries). My sandwich was fine but extremely greasy. The coffee was just okay (Dulce de leche tasted like nothing and the matcha was the best out of all 3 of our drinks). Now, this isn't to say I wouldn't give it another shot as the vibe and ambiance were very cute, but I would wait until they've had time to figure out their inventory and keep up with the demand. Also, note if you plan on staying to actually enjoy yourself and/or work from there, you have to pay for parking so plan to spend an extra $10. read more

This is so Hipster in the worst way. The floor plan is not functional at all! If you have social anxiety full stop! I had the Lavender Honey Latte and the skinny vanilla almond delight. The first tasted like I was drinking potpourri syrup. The latter was like drinking sugar free syrup out of the bottle. The service was A1 and the cashier had gorgeous skin and she was so nice. This place is located in a nice place in Downtown Riverside. Café shop is in a old two storage house. Nice place to sit an have a café with family or friends. Menu of drink you usual café drinks, in addition to their theme drinks; Churro oat latte, Maza pan Latte, Dulce de Leche and Cattalana Late. These Drink are ok, but need a bit more flavor; café taste; drinks are a bit water down, both hot and cool drink. Give them a try. read more

It's in a house! There's an upstairs and downstairs with different seating options . Great for studying because it's calm and not too loud. Free WiFi! I got the Crème Brulé latte and there was too much caramel at the bottom of the cup for me. I would probably opt for a less sweeter drink if I ever go again. Service was friendly! read more

My husband had ham & egg croissant sandwich which he said was great. His latte was custom and he said was barely fair. I had the enchilada bowl, I don't recommend, as it was less par than a frozen (TV dinner) with an aftertaste of plastic that they overcooked it in the microwave. The salsa that I had to ask for, was great and made it palatable. I also had a matchito, their version of macha latte, I am sure it is an acquired taste. Interior is cute but over stretched with Pinterest succulent look. Lastly for as many employees as there are, they need to organize their staff to turn orders faster than the 45 minute wait for items that are just reheated. I will try again with their pastries but never a bowl if it in black plastic rectangular "bowl" that are in their cooler ready to be reheated along with their burritos and other food items. read more

I've visited this shop a few times and the owners were there every time. They're super sweet and make great recommendations/adjustments. I have never struggled to find parking (a surprise for anyone who's ever been downtown). The lighting is beautiful and windows brighten the whole place. I'm really grateful for their seating and quiet/workspace floor, but since I went right when they opened I'm hoping next time I return the employees will be more knowledgeable and the drinks will be made more consistent to a recipe. Overall they're off to a great start and i love their service, ambiance, and display of community and culture. read more

So this place has a really calm, relaxing vibe I ordered the chorizo burrito very good very well toasted food and I also got a white mocha lavender latte very nice. I did have to add a little bit extra of lavender because I love the taste of lavender. The service was really nice and calm very friendly, very enjoyable, and very relaxing. Please consider the following when reading through my review and others. Most people who left reviews, experienced Coffeecito once, and thought their singular experience was the entirety of what the the coffee shop had to offer. Yes it may be true that your coffee or food did not meet your expectations for that one experience. - and that's the point. It was a singular moment. I can see someone leaving an unfavorable review if they came more than once and "every" single time the coffee tasted bad. That isn't the case with most of these reviews.... And the same goes for the positive reviews. With that being said: Coffeecito has the potential to become an iconic destination for Riverside County. --With it's unique modern meets classic aesthetics -- I was lucky enough to experience Coffeecito before, during, and after their grand opening. And I speculate that the overwhelming response was more than what was initially anticipated. The coffee shop has taken quick action to address supply chain issues, increasing personal, and leveraging technology. Also remember - at the time of writing this review, the shop has only been open for 30 days - (one month). As Coffeecito continues to grow, their processes (SOP's) will be revised and the product services will improve. Please have patience as they grow. We need more mom and pop shops that provide unique, one-of-a-kind experiences. read more

We saw this place on IG. It looked beautiful and the I will start by saying the coffee is good and the location is beautiful. We planned our morning for coffee and food based on their IG. We were extremely disappointed to see they had no food and only offered three pastries. We tried the CinToast and it was cold and tasted as if it had been sitting in the case. It was a cold morning and they had no heat and the front door was wide open. We're trying to support local, small businesses but not sure we'll be back. read more

I was super excited to try this place out. I give the coffee a 9/10, we tried that Churro Oat Latter delicious and the Dulce de leche latte amazing as well. The coffees are on the sweeter side nevertheless they tasted great. Where I was very disappointed was the food they run out of food quickly since it's pre made. When we arrived ( Only an hour after opening) they only have their egg scramble ( eggs, chorizo, black beans, cheese, and tortilla chips). The flavor was good but the quality was not it. Since the food is premade they heat it up in a mini oven and the chips become stale and I wasn't a fan of the texture of the eggs after being reheated. It's possible that their other food item are better, this is just my experience. I will definitely be going back for the coffee but the food not so much. I loved that this place was Latino owned. The place looked amazing and there were so many places to study/work/chat at. I tried their machito and it was really good too! However, I have major issues with this place. They closed really early (3 pm), there was no wifi, and one time they refused to exchange a drink I barely touched, didn't like, and couldn't drink. One day I decided to try their starburst drink. I didn't know it was carbonated and they didn't list it as carbonated. I don't like carbonated drinks and they upset my stomach so after taking a few sips, I decided to ask if I could exchange it for a different drink. I take my drink up to one of the baristas, I explained the situation, and they refused to exchange the drink even though I only drank like 10% of the drink at most. Their best offer was a discounted second drink. I threw the drink away and never went back. I've rarely gone to a place where they wouldn't exchange my drink or food that I barely touched. My croissant is was nice and flaky, when I walked in everyone seemed to be busy making drinks, there were 2 parties in front of me and it took the cashier 7 minutes before she helped them so that means I waiting in line for about 16 minutes to place my order. Cashier not very friendly. Very cute building. I burnt my hand picking up my coffee since my coffee was filled all the way to the top with no room for any kind of movement. Me, my mom and brother went to this coffee shop today because we saw an advertisement on Instagram. We were immediately astonished by its modern yet historical look. As we were ordering our coffee, we were greeted with patience and kindness. So, we went and got a seat because we were told it would take about 20 minutes; which was until we realized it was an hour until we got our 3 small coffees. Although the coffee was delicious, we are hesitant to come again because of the poor service! I would suggest going if you have no plans the rest of your day. read more

I'm all for new places and new businesses, the people were really nice but there were only 2 people. i came for a quick study and got a holiday latte 12 oz with almond milk for $8 around 9 am, went to check for it at 9:20 and asked the barista and she said it wasn't ready, so I thought oh they're just backed up but then more people started arriving and soon enough the doorway was completely blocked. I went back again to check at 9:38 and still nothing... the people who came in had already left and when I asked her about my drink she said she didn't see it and never received it. So I had to wait another 10 minutes for it to be made because it was only her making the drinks. At this point the line wasn't moving since cashier was warming and taking orders, they definitely need to improve on some things but I finally got my latte and left at 9:55. It wasn't even worth it. Good coffee so I'll give the second star based on that, however this was my second visit and I'm HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED IN THE SERVICE TODAY. The cashier got my order wrong, had already been waiting about 20 min. She then put my correct order in, which I would assume would be a priority since she had gotten first order wrong. I waited another 25 min to be exact, for the drink which still hadn't been made. The lady making my drinks who seems like an owner or manager was rude, and pretty much didn't give a damn that I had already waited 45 min. Requested a refund and likely won't return. All this before starting work which I was also late to. As a local small business owner this was extremely disappointing. Came here 1/15/2024 it was a nice cold California morning I waited about 30 minutes to get my order placed just about the average wait time to get on the "it's a small world" ride at Disney but with way less anticipation that it would be any good. Well my taste buds were correct I did get chorizo burrito which was cold and not very good as I am writing this I do have horrible heart burn from it and I understand it's made "off site" as described in the disclosure but at the very minimum heat it up correct for me, I also had the churro late and from other coffee shops that's I have been to it was disappointing lacking if any at all churro taste. If you're looking for a "Basic white girl" coffee shop with no taste come here it's a non bias review as I'm rating the coffee and food they sell here and I've been to plenty coffee shops as it's my pass time when I have a day off to try new places. read more
