I much prefer roasts that allow for sweet, balanced espresso. This is personal preference--take that for what you will. Atmosphere: 5.0 Absolutely love the patio. The loft is quiet and great for working. The bottom floor is cool too, but why not sit outside or upstairs?

My latte was well brewed. The French toast was delicious as was the cheese toast with jalapeño. There's strong Wi-Fi, a little store, and clean restrooms. The only complaint is service. Paying up front, the cashier person was nice. However, our server was very cold, distracted, and slow.

We ordered the scrambled eggs with bacon and the Belgian waffle. The eggs came with toast with melted cheese and putting the eggs and bacon on top was perfect. The Belgian waffle wasn't our favorite. The sour cherry and chocolate didn't mix well and the actual waffle was a little dry. Coffee was great! They had two kinds- one from Brazil (more sweet) and one from Peru (more fruity). My daughter had a raspberry lemonade with raspberries. It's made with sparkling water and now your traditional lemonade. Service was excellent! They have an English menu and strong free Wi-Fi.

I've tried about 15 different recommended shops in Brno so far (more to come), but this one clearly trumps the rest on the espresso front. I had a single origin Ethiopian--it was delightfully bright and juicy, yet still strong and present. Atmosphere: 4.5 I love the atmosphere. I wish I could give them 5 stars: the interior is comfortable and gives the slightest wooden scent and the view of the street is great. The only two things holding them back are ease of movement (it's tiny, but some room could be found with clever design decisions) and wifi (none).
