The issue is that the office staff are very rude and condescending. A perfect example is that we unexpectedly were very close to running out of one of our dog's seizure medicine. I contacted the office and tons them that we needed to pick it up, that he'd be out this weekend and they said that they'd have to talk to the vet because our dog's immunizations were due. I failed to see what one had to do with the other. I have a serious health issue of my own and called back the next day to say that I was too ill to bring the dogs in until the following Monday, but my husband could stop by to pick up our dog's seizure medicine. It was Friday morning and he'd be out of his meds on Sunday. They started that they'd have to check with the vet AGAIN because they couldn't give him the meds without getting his shots done. What did the two have to do with each other? He just had several hundred dollars worth of blood work and tests done a few months back and wasn't due again for several months. They were essentially holding his seizure medicine hostage until we came in and spent several more hundred dollars in exams, shots, and meds! I called again and explained that I wasn't feeling well and didn't want him to get his shots on the weekend because he has seizures everytime he gets his immunizations and I didn't want it to happen while the hospital was closed. AGAIN they said they had to ask the vet for permission to release the meds until BOTH dogs had their shots. We felt like we had no other choice, so although I had concerns and didn't feel well, I conceded and went in because our beloved little dog would have seizures and serious side effects without the meds. Since both dogs are on expensive daily medication, in the past our vet has agreed to match the price of online and other area pharmacies that were significantly less expensive. Except the last two times we've went to pick up our dog's seizure medicine, they've wanted to double, even triple the price... saying that it's gone up for everyone. Funny, but when I called other pharmacies, they said the med was "cheap" and had been around for years and not difficult to get at all. So when I went to pay my bill and get our dog's medicine after the visit last night they said that the medicine would be over $180.00 for two months worth. And he's on the smallest dose (15 mg). That's for 80 tablets. I priced it online and it was $27.00 for 180 tablets! Since I'm a disabled Veteran and live on a tight budget, I started that I couldn't possibly pay that and would they match the online pricing. They said they couldn't, once again they would have to talk to the vet. Since our little dog couldn't go without over the weekend, I asked if I could just buy enough pills to get through the weekend until they "talked to the vet". They wanted $27.00 for 3 days worth of meds and wanted to charge me $7.00 just for the "preparation" fee of the meds. I asked if I could just get a prescription and take it somewhere else... Now they wanted $15.00 ON TOP of that, too write prescription. This is after just spending over $250.00 to have their annual shots done and a heartworm test, and in fact the dog with seizures only needed part of them done because he just had them done a few months back at the tune of several hundred dollars. So I called a local pharmacy and they said no problem to getting the meds at a reasonable price and it can all be handled over the phone. I fully expect to get a significant bill for that "phone call". This is just one example... it's sad that they would put money before the health of their patients. Holding his meds hostage so that they could make more money... it's a sad reflection on their clinic.

They probably aren't the cheapest in town but you get what you pay for if you wanted the cheapest you probably wouldn't recieve the best care. We recently had to put down one of our dogs. The staff here cried with us and sent us a card signed by everyone telling us how sorry they were for our loss. It's great to have people that make you feel like more then just a number. People that make you feel like your pets matter to them too.

The doctor and staff were so kind. I could not have asked for anyone better to deal with the situation. They let us have time with our cat to say goodbye. When my daughter starting crying they have her a cute teddy bear to comfort her. Amazing!! When it was time to pick up his ashes they were in the beautiful wood box and it was engraved with his name. We also got a clay ornament with his paws and name on it. So as I am driving home crying I walk in the door and in the mail was a beautiful card from the doctor and staff all with personal messages from each one about our loss. I was absolutely blown away!! I would give them 10 stars if I could! So THANK YOU SO MUCH for all your kindness during an awful time.

First, Josh is a very pleasant and personable professional trainer who has built a following by offering exceptional services. He is a current military man and an ex-law enforcement officer who has traveled to several countries to study and improve his dog training techniques. I spent several hours with Josh as he explained his philosophies and successful methods of dog training. I have met many dog trainers both in person and through the internet, but Josh has an honest and straightforward approach that really appeals to me! Next is the facility. It is a modern, free-standing building that was designed and constructed for the specific purpose of boarding and training dogs. It has plenty of lighting, both natural and artificial, huge environmental heating and cooling equipment, and large kennels with ample space to house his dogs as well as a system of drains that make it easy to keep the areas clean. There were quite a few dogs there at the time of my visit and the place smelled very clean, a testament to his attention to his charges and the maintenance of the facility. Sadly, I live too far away to take advantage of his services, but I would highly recommend Josh and his services to anyone seeking a safe, sanitary and comfortable place to train and board their dogs!
