Fantastic little bistro on 17 Pass. Talleyrand. Calm ambiance with excellent service and fun music, this is a fantastically priced bistro with fantastic food and drink options on a quiet street.
It's appears small, but there are two floors, plus outside seating. Kitchen feels like that of a small house, but that is all they need to create excellent food. We had the forestier croque monsieur, and the warm goat cheese salad, Le Chevre chaud. Both were absolutely fantastic! The croque had lots of flavor, fresh ingredients, and beautifully melted cheese. The potatoes on the side were accompanied by a flavorful white sauce, but there are other side options as well. The salad has fresh greens and fried ham bits, which added a fantastic saltiness to the greenery and the goat cheese. A perfectly poached egg was nested in the middle and added another fantastic texture to the dish. These plus a single glass of wine, came to 27 euros, which is fantastic!
This place is not heavily reviewed, but it really should be. This place is fantastic, and very reasonably priced! It wasn't very busy when I went, so this could be an under the radar gem. Absolute must try if you're in Reims! read more
