This used to be one of my favorite places at the lake, but I will not be going there anymore. MAJOR HEALTH CONCERN They have no free water. They only sell bottled water. This was concerning because all seating is outdoors. After paying a relatively high price on a cocktail, I asked if, since I had bought a drink, I could have a cup of water. I was to that neither the restaurant nor pool bars serve tap water and that I must pay for a bottle. There are also no fountains. I then spoke to a manager and let her know my group had planned to stay and drink, but that we would have to leave if I could not get water because there had been a heat advisory all weekend and I could not drink just alcohol. She told me that I could either pay for a bottle or drink from the hose, and that it had been the rule for 9 years and walked away. I will not be going back. read more

Awful. Price gouging at its finest. Screw up your tab, not the friendliest of service and allow the profoundly drunk people to continue drinking when they can barely walk. No access to water unless you buy it at an inflated price. The place is ripe for a big fat lawsuit, over serving drunks with no access to water in high heat. Smart thinking coconuts. read more

The only reason why I am giving coconuts a one star is because of the rude bartender in the pool area. She thought is was a good idea to grab my beer from my hand, dump it, and ask if I wanted anything. Now, don't get me wrong this place is one of my favorite bar in the Ozarks but I just can't handle people who think they can do what ever they want without consequences. I will most likely never go back there, I will also ask my friends to stay away as well. It only takes one rude ass person to ruin it for me. I think she thought that because she sooooooo beautiful that she can do whatever she wants. I got news for her, she works as a bartender.... I'm a little salty. read more

We were just passing through....but it was AMAZING all of the staff were sweet and attentive! Especially with my two dogs always bringing water and wanting to love on them. The pool is amazing! Super fun place. However, I came here with 5 other girl friends and it was a rainy day so no one was really there. We all got drinks and then a bartender (Beau) randomly gave us all shots. Then one of my friends asked for 6 waters. They gave us all water bottles and proclaimed that we needed to stay hydrated. Then, we asked to close out and the bartender had changed us for the shots and water bottles!! We did NOT ask for the shots and we did not ask for the water bottles. Simply water. If we had been told it was $1.50 water bottles we would have declined. When we confronted him about it he said "that's the business sweetie". Gross. read more

This is a fun place to go for food and drinks! It is fun having a pool to swim in instead of the lake, for a change! The pool says no children allowed, but every time we go there, kids are in the pool!! Would be nice if they would enforce their own rules!! Don't order the steak quesadilla, as its expensive and its not steak, just sliced beef! read more

This was a fun place with a very fun staff! They were very pet friendly and there is a variety of on site activities from swim up pool to boat rentals. If your looking for lots of action and cool bartenders? Try this on any weekend during the summer. The gift shop was closed but they opened it right up for us, and they have a great view right on the lake. read more

Shrimp Appetizer was hot and good. Gumbo waswas warm. Very Loud music kept us from enjoying our meal. Additionally, I parked in the Handicap area. We had to walk down a hill and back up to the restaurant which was extremely difficult. At the end of a meal I asked if there was a door while I was looking directly at one. She curtly responded NO! I wasn't able to walk downstairs and back up so I used it anyway. Maybe they need a sign ssying "Handicap Patrons Not Welcome!" read more

My friends and I traveled by boat to Coconuts yesterday. As it was a weekday, it wasn't very busy. Due to the mixed reviews we had read about limited menu, prices and having to pay for water, we were somewhat skeptical but chose to try it anyway. We viewed the on-line menu and didn't think the menu was limited. However, the on-line menu and the menu on site were 2 different things; the on-site menu was limited but were ultimately happy with our choices. The portions were extremely generous. Don ordered a side of French fries which was definitely not necessary as Lisa and I couldn't eat all the fries which came with our sandwiches. Loved the swim-up bar. Bartender was very accommodating. Yes, they charge for water in the restaurant but the proceeds from the sale of water goes to Wounded Warriors and the local animal shelter. I would highly recommend the steps leading to the children's swimming area be cleaned periodically throughout the day as lake scum had built up on the steps making them extremely slippery. Went there this week and will never come back. I had my teenagers with me and they could not be at the big pool, and the other pool was $4 just to get in and was for little children. I don't know how they expect parents of teens to hang out there. They only serve water bottles for $1.50 they say there is no free water bc of a bad well, but then how do they cook and wash dishes? Our boat just broke down outside your place, and it's our anniversary weekend. It's my dad's boat that we were borrowing for the weekend. He frequents this restaurant and your new one all the time! We obviously didn't plan for this to happen and were frantic. Instead of anyone wanting to help us, everyone yelled at us for being in the way and stared at us with disgust, telling us they "had a business to run." We did finally get some help until Kelly's showed up, but it was a very hostile environment, and we don't feel we deserved that at all. read more

Didn't get to spend much time here and experience the food but only the swim up bar. I want to go back and spend more time here. Very clean and good place for groups, friends and family. They don't allow anyone under 21 into the swim up bar which is a HUGE plus. They have areas just for kids and families. read more

Loved this place! Great drinks, had the Skinny Dip and it was great. Everyone at the pool looked like they were having fun & the music was great !The staff was friendly & the girls at the dock were helpful with tying our boat docked in a pretty windy day. It was a great atmosphere if you are in your 20's looking for fun. Plenty of things to do, which mostly involves drinking. I did sense it was tame enough for families, though. I had the coconut shrimp and was very impressed. The dockside service wasn't needed, but helpful anyway. Just next time I say "we can handle it," i mean that. It was a 20' tritoon. We had never been to this bar before and decided to try it out today. It was packed due to the holiday weekend. At first, I thought that picking today was a bad idea due to all the people. The staff was running around and we couldn't get anyone's attention. Then I saw a waitress and asked if we could get waited on at a table we had found. She said that it wasn't an area that usually gets food and that it was the bartenders table but she would ask them if it was ok that she waited on us there. They said ok and we got great - fast drinks and our food came out hot and fresh in 10 minutes. The food was ok for bar food but seemed a little expensive. However, I was expecting to wait at least 45 minutes due to how packed it was but got the food quickly so that was a plus. Overall, it was a pretty good experience! read more

Absolutely awful unless your maybe just going to drink only! $10 charge per person to park even if your going just to eat!! The food prices are outrageous nachos or a cheeseburger or even a chicken season salad cost almost as much as a lb of crab legs! They charge you extra for any side condiments and charge for bottled water with no option of a glass of water! Then they charge you $4 a piece for anyone under the age of 20 to use their lame kid pool and slide when you've already paid a huge cover just to go eat! Never ever going back read more

All the restaurants around use the same company for there food supplier so everywhere you go you get the same fries and chicken strips or the same meat for a hamburger. That being said putting a $14 price tag on chicken tenders and fries I can go down the street to get for 8 is ridiculous. I don't care what the environment is the places environment sucks anyway. It's a college bar basically and you go there to get drunk and start fights. The music is terrible and the prices make it an even worse experience. The pool is full of urine by 2:00 pm and you can't walk around without hugging people, all of whom are drunk ignorant and half naked. We have tried this place several times and always thought it was a little fun, quite pricey for the value, but ok if not too busy. Today clinched it and we won't be back. First off, my husband chose to park at one of the far docks because the place was packed there was a fair amount of wake and our new boat doesn't dock as easily as our previous one. Rather than risk hitting someone, he chose one of the lesser used docks. There were several other boats there, but one of the dock guys came running down and immediately started complaining that my husband had ignored him when he waved us in to a spot on one of the packed docks. My husband explained that he preferred not to park so close to other boats but the guy wouldn't give it up and said he'd worked there for 7 years and it was his job to prevent accidents. Really? Was he going to fly across the water and dock us? Did he think that we really wanted to walk the extra distance on this 95 degree day when the sun was blazing? Next, my daughter had her swim bag searched when she got to the entrance. She had forgotten to take a bag of chips out and the "security" boy at the gate told her she would have to take them back to the boat? Seriously? We came to eat; not our own chips, but from their overpriced menu. She told him she wasn't taking them all the way back to the boat, but he could keep them for her. So we went in, ordered 4 drinks + 2 bottles of water and a couple of appetizers. We spent a few minutes in the pool (where I seriously doubt everyone was 21-I know this to be true because I personally know older teens who have been in that pool.) As we were leaving, my daughter was now told she could not take her drink in the plastic cup with her! What law is that? So, she went back in and finished her drink. On her way out, she asked for her bag of chips and was told that he "threw them away because that's his job" so, since this was an unopened bag, I would like to have known which car was his! I suspect he has plenty of free snack food in it. Not going back! read more

Not a great place for kids. I was told this place was very family friendly , but I disagree. They have a very tiny area for the kids to play and swim. I will say as for adults it was great they had a great adult swim up bar. People drinking dancing having a great time. I will definitely be back without the kiddos. read more

The Pain in the Ass is such an amazing drink. Defiantly recommend the 32 oz bucket. The adult pool is a nice touch. Did not try any of the food, but it looked delicious. We will be back next year! read more

I highly recommend not going to this sorry excuse for a restaurant. The alcohol is almost non existent. The food is very mediocre with a premium price. If you go here make sure to check your bank statement if you use a credit or debit card. This place charged me for ten purchases when I used my card there three times. Whats even worse is that three of the purchases ($56) were from the day after I was there when I was back at my home in Kansas city. This place is a hidden gem! Driving back there, was kind of sketchy! But it was worth the drive! Family place! You can bring your dog with you! They also have a dog menu! Very disappointed! The beach area for the kids is terrible. The steps into the water are steep and slick, I'm surprised kids don't fall daily. Then when you get in the water there are big rocks that tear up your feet. We didn't stay long enough to eat as we decided to go somewhere more family friendly. We did need gas so got some before leaving and had a bad experience at the gas dock also. read more
