Everything here was great! It was definitely the best shrimp we'd ever had, even compared to Hawaii, Mexico, Florida and California! Shocked to find that in Texas. ‍ We weren't super hungry so we ordered the combo shrimp with 3 coconut and 4 butter garlic, with double rice. They had lots of staff working who were very friendly and nice. Got my order to go, and it only took a few minutes. Today, 3/29, was my first visit to Coco Shrimp Richardson. The boxed containers are cute, nice touch if you want to take home leftovers. The location is good and decorated quite nicely. The customer service is excellent. For almost $12 a box, you would think that you'd get more than 6 pieces of a shrimp. Honestly, it's a rip off. They load you up with rice but I want to enjoy equal parts rice and shrimp. The shrimp doesn't have shell-on which is a bummer since that is the key to flavorful shrimp (and the experience). A small drink is almost $3 w/ free refills. I would recommend trying this place at least once. Hopefully they add more shrimp to the plates before you go! read more

I decided on a trio platter which came with nine large shrimp. I got Sweet and spicy, lemon, herb, and spicy shrimp. The rice is so delicious and lots of it and it has a garlic butter mixed in with it. It comes with a good size salad with Romain lettuce. I got the ginger dressing, which reminded me of Benihana's ginger dressing.. Even the iced tea was very good. I would highly recommend this and I will be back. Yall need to speak with your staff over their customer service and attitude. I very much enjoy y'all's food and I always recommend Coco Shrimp to everyone. However, all staff members are very unwelcoming. Whoever was working the drive through was unprofessional. She did not greet us but instead gave us an attitude and said "yes" when getting to the window. Her attitude was very uncalled for and there has to be better training on greeting and attempting to seem professional. Not once did she look at her computer to attempt to check the orders but instead just said "Yes" when getting to the window. Goodness. I tried a bite of the rice first and I was in love! So rich and flavorful. It's not the kind of rice you pick at and leave on the plate, it's so delicious.
