Our first dining experience in London. Kensington, actually. Coco Momo was conveniently located around the corner from our hotel and was a welcome sight after a very long journey. Relaxing, comfortable and just what my empty stomach called for. Breakfast was fantastic! Service was great and a very good first impression. Loved the cappuccino as well.

Fast and good service, and more importantly, very good food. I had a hot smoked trout salad, and every single piece of veg (asparagus, haricots verts, sea beans, brocolini) is cooked to perfection. The small plates offered are of very high quality as well. Ambience is quite good, noise level is medium, definitely is good for casual dining or Sunday brunch.

Was happy to find somewhere very active and serve a breakfast. Also ate a bit of cake hope it did have to many calories. Plus I had a target to lose one pound of fat a week

DELICIOUS Americano and poached eggs over avocado toast! Perfect way to start a day!

Had an excellent breakfast here on a Tuesday morning at 9:30am. Was quiet, maybe a few parties but plenty of seating. I was solo so grabbed a seat at the bar, had an Americano and poached eggs on avocado toast! Outstanding. Very friendly service. Delicious coffees. Very reasonable prices for the neighborhood. Tidy establishment. Will be back again on my next visit!

I love this place. Great for avocado toast. Visar treats me like family. Nice managers. I'm a regular here when I visit London. I see lots of locals here which is always a great sign.

A solid 3 star experience - quiet and pleasant for a large group on a Saturday evening. Time arrived - for a group of 8 with a reservation at 8pm Saturday, we were seated promptly as guests trickled in over the next half hour. Ambience - quite quiet and rather empty for a Saturday night. Beautiful paintings and large windows adorned the walls throughout. Service: The wait staff was a bit slow in returning to the tables and only brought out one water once for the table of 8. Drinks - honestly forgettable, but voluminous. I think my gin based drinks were "gin-tasting" and had different notes of sweet/sour mixed in, but not much more to say. Food: The waffle and ice cream was actually quite delicious, warm and cold in the right ways. The fries "chips" were average. Tips/Takeaways: -Good for groups with reservation -The drinks are HUGE, but I think they are forgettable -Wait staff could be more attentive to our table and come back to refill water more regularly, especially for a group -12.5% gratuity for groups of 6+ -Clean and quite on a Saturday night, but the bathrooms are downstairs in a chilly corner and kind of secluded in a creepy way

Great atmosphere and environment. Has a feel as if you're in restaurant, coffee shop, and bar at same time. Another word - whatever you're there for you won't feel obligated or weird to be dressed certain way or pressured to order as little or as too much. I was just simply looking to sit down and work on my planner for the year. End up ordering thIs dish which I was not able to find on menu from pictures that were posted here earlier. Indicates they might be changing menus. Anyways ordered from section of "small plates". Name of dish consisted of worlds "lamb katlets & Greek Salad". Reasonable price, very generous portion , fresh and delicious food.... overall pleasant servers and great environment. Felt very welcomed. Know wouldn't be judged even if I just ordered hot tea for€2.50

Delicious food, great and friendly staff and awesome vibe. Loved it! Would return on my next trip to London.

Great service and a variety of menu items to choose from including a brunch menu. Great place to sit outside when it's nice out and casual, nice ambiance.

Trying the "Old Mount Cider" from NZ - great recommendation from the waiter. Will seek it out again

Busy little local in Kensington. Friendly service & warm atmosphere but a bit too noisy for a quiet meal. Really popular with the locals. We sat by the window which looked nice but turned out to be a bit chilly because of the drafty windows. We had a mix of four platters to share. The squid & chorizo with quinoa salad; scallops on a pea purée with crispy bacon; salmon fish cakes; and a baked Camembert. The food was decent. It filled our rumbling tums. The fish cakes were ok but a bit bland, the squid was nicely cooked but I wasn't sure of the pairing with the chorizo. The scallops were the best dish. A solid 3.5. Would go back if we were staying in the area again.

Our charming waiter with us after dinner.

Listen, every pub and its mother does a Sunday Lunch. Only a handful are any good though…read more The Harewood Arms is the standard bearer. Fact. Tucked away in a quaint Fulham side street, the Harewood Arms has long since had a reputation for culinary excellence. So much so I'm not sure you can really call it a pub any more, that would be cheating. It's also the only 'pub' to have a Michelin star. Here's why. The Sunday Lunch here is off the scale excellent. They have managed to take all the things that make a Sunday roast a Sunday roast - the ridiculous excess, the gratifying satiation, the full on madness of the spread - and add enough fitness to make something truly memorable. Opulence abounds. Peacock feathers for chandeliers, massive gilded mirrors, the smells and sounds only proper wood panelling can give you, high corniced ceilings, space in abundance, a few stuffed animals in the mix, a sweeping bar. Victorian exuberance in every corner. The welcome is warm. The table is intimate. The food is proper. A thick paper menu adorned with curly writing tells us we're not leaving good old Blighty today. Completely unnecessary starters are ordered. Venison Scotch Egg from the 'snack' section. Grilled Scallop from the starters list. The Scotched Egg is moist and meaty with a real crunch to the crust. It comes with a punchy chutney and it's a delight but, to warn you, it's not a snack. 'Hearty' would be the word except I'm sure the heart might complain at being overruled by the eyes and belly. Scallops is pretty as a picture, presented in the shell and adorned with cucumber, shish and seaweed. We had already ordered soda bread and whipped butter and already we were wondering if we should order a crane winch to get us out of the place. Two thick slabs of nutty soda bread with butter a lot lighter than the feathers surrounding us. The roast itself is presented on a large board which groans under the abundance of its contents. It's a sight. Huge Yorkshires are delved straight into and the surprise comes when you meet the beef ragu encased inside. Luxury and decadence in abundance. We ordered the Cote De Boeuf (about the only thing that deviates from the Britishness) and it comes sliced into large chunks so you get the burnished black crust and the velvet red inside. Broccoli makes a pretty bedding plant on the board. The all important roasties have the all important crust and fluff within. We picked away but not before making sure staff were happy to give us a doggy bag. Once that was confirmed we were able to relax somewhat. The idea that any of this would go to waste is enough to induce a panic attack. Given that this is a place to hunker down, the wine menu is great, offering plenty of interesting choice and something for most pockets. Prices are no more than you'd expect - which is to say, it's not cheap - a meal and an experience worth every penny. Booking months in advance is essential if you want Sunday Lunch. Wandering in after a good Sunday walk on the off chance will end in disappointment. This is not a pub. It's a celebration of the heights the great British Sunday Roast can reach.

We ended up in Hudson's after two other options weren't available (NB Sushi 54 only does delivery on Friday and Saturday nights) and got a table with no problem. There's actually a lot of dining space but it's broken up into rooms and so feels cosy and like a proper bistro. There's quiet music which allows for easy conversation and generally has a nice buzz. We found service generally quick and attentive. I had potato skins with cheese and bacon to start (these are in strips not a whole half). It's a generous portion so share if you're not too hungry. For my main I had mussels which I thought were excellent - again a generous portion and the very butterym salty sauce was addictive (although may be too rich for some). Dessert options looked good too but was too full by then. Overall it's an odd menu - they have basically picked favourite dishes from every cuisine (e.g. nachos, thai green curry, shepherd's pie) but seem to be doing a decent job with them. I would definitely come back if in Putney in need of a relaxed and affordable dinner.

Maybe that's too harsh, I had a great meal here with some dear friends. The food was good, but my goodness you couldn't get a drink or the bill to save your life! Was visiting London so of course I had to go over to East Putney, the hottest spot in the metro area. Luckily I have friends there so we journeyed down to Hudson's for dinner. Not much of a beer selection. Peroni on tap was all they had for draft. The food was all good. Starters: Fried Camembert- eaten in a flash. Very good. Potato skins- different from the ones we have in the US, but very good. They chop up the potatoes rather than scooping them out and refilling them Entree: Scampi and chips- Looked good, PW liked it. Burger- Nicely prepared, BS cleaned his place Dublin Chicken- This was my meal. As soon as I saw cheese and bacon, I knew I had to put this inside my belly. It was very good. They were out of the scotch egg appetizer, which disappointed me. But like I said, the food was tasty but I finished my first beer before the entrees came and didn't get another one until I had finished eating. It literally took 35 minutes to get the check. So if you're not in a rush and you don't get very thirsty, this is a terrific place. If you like to drink with your meal and don't want to spend three hours on dinner, not so much. We arrived at 7.30pm for an evening meal, and first impressions were very positive. The decor is very nice - a bit stark and echoey for my taste, but that's a personal pression, nothing else. The staff were friendly and attentive - and the friendliness lasted throughout our visit. Sadly, the same cannot be said of the attentiveness. Orders were taken quickly and starters weren't too slow either. But that's were the attentiveness stopped. We waited at least 25 minutes between our starters being cleared and our mains appearing. And then it took half an hour for anyone to take our order for dessert - that's 30 minutes between being given the menu and being able to catch someone's eye to order. In total, our meal took 2hours and 15 minutes. Which is far longer than I'd ever expect of a three course meal, but which could have been forgiven if the food was exceptional. It wasn't. There was nothing desperately wrong with any of it, but none of it was truly exciting. Not once it turned up, at any rate. My starter - curried crab samosas - sounded really different, but fell flat, and was a disappointing start to the evening. The filling was a little boring, and not very crabby in flavour, and the pastry casings were a bit greasy. Which would become a theme. The raita that came with the samosas was the highlight - lovely and fresh and well seasoned. I'd have eaten more of that...but not of any of the rest. My main was a tart of English asparagus, leeks and Cornish Yarg if puff pastry, topped with salad. The tart itself was tasty enough - the leeks maybe a little creamy and a little too abundant, but the asparagus and cheese making up the difference. The major issue I had with this was that the plate was drizzled with oil, and the salad drenched in dressing. And when you put oil anywhere near puff pastry, it ends up tasting and looking oily. And excessive oil is not something I'm a fan off, so that rather ruined my main. We did wait for dessert, but regretted it. Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream and rum toffee sauce. The sauce was nice, the ice cream ok, and the sticky toffee pudding itself was both stodgy and tasteless. A disappointing end to a disappointing evening. I think the main problem with our visit is that we went for a meal, and The Jam Tree is better suited to being a wine bar or pub. As long as you're willing to be served at the bar, it seems great. The wine list is extensive, and the garden out the back looks like a lovely place to spend a few hours. So whilst my visit was disappointing, and probably won't be repeated, I wouldn't entirely write the place off.
