I went back to this place to try something else. It was my second time here within a week, and this time it was a disaster, very disappointing, unacceptable. It's so weird, how come a place can have such discrepancy in terms of quality in such a short time?
We ordered the fillet with funghi, an expensive dish and, supposedly, with prime quality. The waiter warned us the dish would take time to come, but it would be worthwhile. Indeed, it took a while, a long while, much longer than we had been told - about an hour. And when the food finally came, I could not believe it. The meat was overcooked (we had ordered medium) and the rice undercooked. To top it off, the whole meal WAS NOT HOT - what???? - So, it took them an hour to bring our food, and they serve us COLD overcooked steaks? Unacceptable!
Then it comes the waiter who, very apologetically, brings in the manager. Manager takes the food away and promises it will not take long, and that the second time everything will be done as it should be. I pointed out ALL the issues, I even asked how come they would be able to bring the meal back in a short time if, according to the waiter, that dish needed time for preparation, but the manager said that they would speed it up and guaranteed that they would make it up to us.
Half an hour goes by, and when they bring in the the food, another disappointment, and now with more frustration. This time, the fillet was cooked medium, but the rice and the baked potatoes were both unacceptably COLD - seriously????
We asked for the check. The waiter just apologized for the mishaps, brought us the check in full and even reminded us that the tip had not been added yet - really??? The manager never showed up again.
This is bad quality of service and bad customer service, very bad. This kind of experience is unacceptable, especially in a place like that. read more
