I also recall with a smile a huge body builder guy that used to come in that drove one of those little Nash Metropolitan Cars. I could never figure out how he even got in the little thing . Just about everyone was very friendly including all the really great bartenders who acted like friends. We were treated like regulars after a couple of late night visits. Some slot machines which actually paid!!! Our destination most evenings. Not really smoky as only allowed in designated areas-like near the slot machines. Not really expensive.
