It smelled like paint. It was noisy with workers communicating loudly up and down the hall, and carpet cleaning machines. Given the lack of cars in the parking lot, it seems like they could have given us a room on a floor without the maintenance work. I said as much on the survey they asked me to take. Their response was that they hope to do better next time. There won't be a next time. I'll fondly remember having to excuse myself to get around the friendly guy painting our door frame. Good Times.

My room had a really nice big fridge which was great for the drinks and snacks that we brought for the weekend. It is quiet but right in the heart of all the action too. The hot tub was amazing. This hotel is right by the airport, so it also offered some great views of the runway. If I solo travel to Oshkosh again, this is definitely where I'll stay.
