Cindy came recommended from a friend and they also planned on brining their child during spring break as well. We toured the daycare on a weekend. From the beginning, Cindy was fast and communicative. The Daycare was small but it was very clean. No shoes inside, they provide all of the meals, they were understanding of my child's allergies, and most of all, Cindy made my daughter smile so much on her first day! Because it was short term, we paid a daily rate and felt the rate was very fair. Highly recommend this place! We feel great about having a flexible childcare option that is relatively close to us! Quick tip: You can block their drive way for pick up and drop offs. We only had to supply sheets and a blanket for her nap and water bottle. That's it!

It is going to be a big transition with her no longer going to Cindy regularly. Sending our first child to daycare was not an easy decision for us, as our families are used to helping each other out in babysitting and not sending our babies and toddlers to daycare, but it truly ended up being one of the best decisions we made for our daughter at an early age. Noticing her social skills and eagerness to interact with other kids both at daycare and in social settings has become very rewarding. Cindy has the character of someone who truly cares about the development and growth of children. I can recognize these habits she instills in her daycare, easily by observing her and the children when I picked up my daughter after work and simply talking to her for just 5-10min with updates on both my own daughter and the other kids she takes care of. Cindy was also so accommodating in adding extra days in we would need for babysitting, even in such short notice. She sent pictures every so often, and provided us with the daily routine of what our daughter did/learned on the days she attended. We appreciated her outdoor space for our daughter to get some sunlight and play, the friends that she made there, the year-round holiday activities she would prepare for the kids, and the bilingual dialogue that Cindy would use to expose the kids to more than just English. We are currently expecting our second child, and we would easily choose Cindy to be part of our lives again in babysitting and caring for our children when needed.

The teachers here truly care about their students and my children love their teachers. I like that this is a full mandarin immersion program, as my daughter's mandarin is now very fluent. She often comes out with words/phrases I know she did not pick up at home. It's super helpful that You&Me provides lunch so I don't need to worry about packing their meals. They do also have several educational elements woven in with activities geared to develop their skills in between play time. Facilities here are clean and well maintained. The staff tries to accommodate parents requests. Communication with the staff is streamlined through an app in which we also receive regular updates and photos. The regular parent teacher conferences with a binder collection of photos also serve as a good summary of my children's progress. This is the 3rd daycare facility my daughter has been in and this one has provided the most resources, structure, and environment compared to our 2 previous home based daycares. We are overall very happy here.

My older son is nearly 2 and has been attending since he was 3 months old and my second child just enrolled a month and a half ago. What drew us to You & Me was the warmth of the teachers. When my husband and I visited for our initial tour we both remarked that you could just feel how much the teachers cared about the children. The facility felt warm and welcoming and the children seemed happy to be there. A year and a half later and we are so glad we went with our instinct and enrolled our children here. Communication: To be honest we were a little concerned at first about how we would communicate with the staff since the school is Mandarin immersion and my husband and I cannot speak Mandarin, but it has never been a problem. There has always been someone at You & Me available to translate, if the direct caregiver doesn't speak as much English as we needed to express nuanced concerns. You & Me uses a mobile application to provide secure check-in and out for the children and allows you to stay updated on how your little ones are doing throughout the day. We love getting pictures of our children throughout the day, it helps us to feel connected even when we are not physically with our babies. Cost: The tuition is competitive and very reasonable for the level of care they provide. They were the most cost effective center based daycare we could find in South San Francisco. Yes, we did find some nanny-shares that were a little less expensive but I was not comfortable with the idea of one person trying to care for 4 or more children on their own, to say nothing of the hassle of becoming an employer and dealing with the tax ramifications of that (no thank you!) Care: You & Me does all the adorable Pinterest-esk things with my babies that I wish I had the time to do! You & Me has a rotating age appropriate curriculum of stories, songs, cultural activities (like celebrating the Lunar New Year, Harvest Festival, and Halloween), and what I would call life skills like brushing their teeth and putting together their own meals (even using little plastic cutters to make fruit salads!). They even do parent teacher conferences where they go into detail about how your little one is doing and what areas they are flourishing in and what areas they need more support in, then they work with you to create detailed plans for how to help your child grow in those areas. I recommend You & Me to all my colleagues and if you are looking for care in this area I highly recommend you schedule a tour, you won't regret it!

When we were finally able to potty train her, we sent her to WPWL and the experience was GREAT! I seriously cannot recommend them enough. My oldest is at TK now and she has blossomed. The teachers are all so nice and caring, the first day for my daughter was rough but Teacher Lisa was there instantly to help soothe her. She was a little shy for a bit but Teacher Jeovanka and Teacher Rebecca really worked to help her play and socialize with other kids. They also knew how to read her emotions and allow her time to spend with the adults on days where maybe she was struggling. My daughter was there for one year and it made an immense difference. We still get to see the teachers from time to time around the area and they still remember us and our daughter. We now have an 8 month old and I cannot wait to get her into their Early Learners program. In all honesty, I was very nervous about sending my daughter to school, I think change is just hard. But they were sure to send photos on their app and they made me feel very secure with her. Their graduation ceremony was also super adorable. They had toddler sized cap and gowns with "diplomas". They also gifted them a pencil box that was completely full of pencils, markers, pencil sharpener, erasers. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place. In my experience, I really feel like they were trustworthy and genuinely cared for their students.

I mean healthy instructional direction by discipline. All kids need it. The only thing I wish they did better is keep the entrance clean and the bathroom, but other than that, my focus was the quality of instruction and play-based setting for a preschooler.
