This is an excellent hotel and is situated away from the crowds of downtown Killarney. The place is very comfortable and the setting is absolutely picturesque. But that does not make this place memorable. The hosts paul and Annette and their small staff are five star. The food is is in their quaint restaurant gets a 3.75 out of 5 too. If you are looking for comfort and value, plus a splash of elegance...without the snobiness and price, this is the place. I can tell you that this Stay has been chalked up to one memorable stay. Three times better than Dromoland Castle we stayed in later (the hotel that george Busch stayed in while visiting Ireland)
