I am writing in regards to our most recent stay at Seaside Beach & Racquet Club in Orange Beach, AL; more specifically Unit Seaside 5414. The location and beach are wonderful however the unit is not. The unit was dirty, dirty towels in the master bedroom, dirty linen; when opening the sleeper sofa the linens were dirty and chips and cookies fell onto the floor. This pots and pans in the kitchen cupboards were in disarray and filthy as if they'd been put away that way! The was not enough flatware for our group of six and this is posted to sleep eight. All this and no warning that major construction was going on right next to our unit and every morning at 8;00am shard the banging, grinding and drilling started at times even making the walls of our unit shake! We did report our concerns to the Reservation Manager (Sherri Daverede) from Coastal Properties (There is no on-site Reservation Management) and she did make every effort to correct things including having the unit cleaned, new linens installed along with fresh towels. She even offered to refund us one night's stay and the cleaning fee. One last point of interest, the have two beautiful outdoor pools with many children happily playing them, but no public restrooms available so everyone must return to their unit to use a restroom. This was our vacation with the grandkids so we made the best of it but needless to say our accommodations left much to be desired! read more

This place treats its guests like trash. When we called to let them know the tvs didn't work, they told me to call the tv provider myself and fix it, when I called the tv provider, they wanted my account info. When I called coastal back, all they wanted to do is argue and tell me that I have to fix it myself. The condo was filthy. Several things were broken and food was all over the glass dining room table. When we spoke to them about it, coastal stated that the cleaning company they use is contracted by them but they don't control them at all. How stupid does that sound?? Plus, when we made the reservation at the last minute to get away from hurricane Irma, they quoted is just over $500(which we paid)for the 3 nights, then after driving 5 hours with our 3 small children, they told us that we had to pay almost $300 more or go find somewhere else that had a room.
